Not a bad TV for the price. I admit Refurbished always gives me pause, been burned by Refurb stuff before (though not through Woot).

My only concern would be dead pixels. Can anyone comment on their Woot experience with REFURB tvs?

I purchased a 55 inch samsung refurbed from woot a few months ago. It's gorgeous, no dead anything. Had a small dent on the rear of the TV but it's mounted on my wall so nobody will ever see it!

Ew, did I just help an owl?

I'm afraid to buy TV's here now. Last time I bought one they send me broken one and had to send it back and got a refund. I really wanted the TV.

But are these hourly deals really deals? 299 sounds good but I feel like I could get more TV for that price.

I actually agree, this isnt a bad deal, but for a couple hundred more you could get a new, higher end model that is a little larger.

I'm sure these pop up refurbed places as well and arent much more than this. When I was looking to buy, this model and a few samsung models were the 2 I was looking for. Samsung came up at the best price first (thanks woot)

Ew... helped another owl!!!

It's hard to get more TV for the money, not impossible just hard, and deal is a shady term anyhow, any agreed upon negotiation is a "deal". ;)

If you're good with refurbed TVs this is a solid deal, especially with free shipping.

This is a good looking TV, and I really like Vizio, but I'm in a TV cold war against a friend of mine, and I can't settle for anything less than 60 inches.

But if you buy this one and mount it in the bathroom with a 60inch in the living room; thats like getting a double kill
