I hard boiled a dozen yesterday for deviled eggs. Water came to a boil, turned the burner off and forgot them for a couple hours. Figured they'd have the dreaded green ring around the yolks, but they were perfect. Can't figure out why.

The neighbor kid, male, 18, pushed schizo guy down after words were said.

Schizo guy called the cops and wanted neighbor kid arrested. Claimed he broke bones in the fall.
Somehow even with said broken bones, he was standing and talking to the cops just fine.

So now we had 7 cop cars with an ambulance sitting on the block.

Cops end up telling schizo guy that it isn't a good thing to arrest a neighbor. That all the other neighbors are talking to the kid and his parents. Nobody is here talking to you. You don't need all your neighbors upset with you. (like we are happy we have a schizo 30 something violent male living alone on the block)

In the end the cops convinced him not to press charges. Now all the neighbors are sitting on the stoop eating watermelon.


Sort of good, or bad, depending on if it is you or not....cops said the fact they have responded to schizo guy's house for violence before and neighbor kid has never been in any trouble, can't be taken into consideration.

If I were neighbor kid or neighbor kid's parents, I'd be really worried.
