Thanks, I was hoping people would see they're buttons.

No I took the easy way out and found a button man. He was on display in Las Vegas and the other source was a Superman poster.

Yep, that's the one I used.

I hate to get technical (especially on woot!), partially because I think someone did a good job on the Bruno poster above, but the point is to take an EXISTING poster from a CLASSIC film (you define CLASSIC for yourself) and convert it to a superhero poster, not to create one from scratch (although that would make a great separate woot! contest...HINT!).

By the way, the Shadowcat on a Hot Tin Roof poster is awesome! Dances with Wolverine is good too.

Benjamin Button looks cool but doesn't get across the idea of being a superhero movie (capes aside) and isn't based on the Benjamin Button movie poster.

Actually, the theme doesn't say it has to be an existing poster, just "a" movie poster for a classic film. I'd have no problem with a created poster winning.

{The rule was:} Show us a movie poster for a classic (non-superhero) film transformed into a superhero movie.

gwbids responds:

Yes, I suppose the statement is ambiguous. I read it as:
Show us a movie poster for a classic (non-superhero) film transformed into a superhero movie.

You read it as:
Show us a movie poster for a classic (non-superhero) film transformed into a superhero movie.

I'll concede that. Especially as it is also stated that the rules will be made up as they go along. And I really don't care who wins for what reason (... but PICK ME, PICK ME!)

Okay... that was immature. But I still say simply slapping a cape onto the figure in the poster does not make it a superhero film. Something in the text or visual of the poster should suggest that the film is about a superhero.

But then again, I don't make (or make up) the rules.

HAVE FUN EVERYONE!
