Ew, did I just help an owl?
You did help an owl...but they need all the help they can get!
Good price for the tv

+1 (I really wish you could like posts!)
I have a 42" vizio and have had for a couple of years and never had a problem with it... and i bought it refurbished and has worked perfectly ever since

How about 4 of these tvs put together
I purchased the 24-inch Vizio model with their Smart Apps about 9 months ago. Picture-wise the set is great! However, the 'apps' leave much to be desired. In the last few weeks I've found that Hulu Plus is no longer supported. The service tech explained that Vizio tends to put the older-style guts in their new screens and these cannot be updated.
My advice: Get a newer screen HDTV and add a Roku 2 or 3 box.
I bought one of these and they're amazing - very happy with my purchase!
I remember paying this much for a much smaller tube TV back in '99.
Vizio has come a long way from their early products. Glad to see they are doing well.

Is there some way of splitting the same signal into 4 pieces out to 4 TVs, creating one massive mega-TV? Because that would be amazing.
I wonder what class I'm in?

Some of the older Vizios had problems (I have one awaiting parts right now), but their newer TVs (like this one) seem to be fairly problem free.

We have 2 80" TVs at work that work like that, but they use software to split them. I'm sure there's something out there for though, as some of the older "video walls" were just multiple TVs mounted together.
Good TV, this is not a great deal. you can find the same TV, new not a refurb for the same or a little cheaper.
Not a bad price for a back-lit LED TV, anyone know if it has local dimming?
With refurbished, you really don't know what you are getting, could be scratched, marred, etc.
Also, manufacturer's warranties are almost always void on refurbished goods. Some may offer a 30,60,90 day warranty, but almost never a full warranty.
Awesome deal! But I'm hoping today has a 50" or biggar! щ(ﾟДﾟщ)
I have this TV. It's a good one!
After looking at the specs I see that it does do local dimming.

Today I learned that you can buy something called a "Video Wall Controller" and do this exact thing. Apparently they run between $200 and $2000, so not necessarily cheap, but definitely cool!
This TV would great sitting on top of a Betta Koi or Squarryl.
Oh yeah, I went there.

Where are the links?
I have a Samsung tv that was a display model that I bought 4 years ago... still running strong!
My advice: Get a newer screen HDTV and add a Roku 2 or 3 box.
Agree - I have been picking up cheap TCL HDTVs(jury's still out on quality) and slapping Apple TV or similar cheaper items to get the apps.
Be warned! The Squarryls will crack your nuts. Stay away from our Bags of Crap!
The boyfriend just bought it. Looking forward to checking it out!
Congrats - you're in the best clan!
Is it safe to buy these refurbished TVs??
Very tempting, I've got an older VIZIO that has been working great for the past 3 years.
Be aware of the 60Hz (actual) versus 120Hz (faked) refresh rates. It's not necessarily a bad thing - it's just not the same thing as 120Hz (actual). All the manufacturers are doing it now.
I got this set at the last woot off at the $309 price. Has to be the best thing I ever bought from woot. Replaced a 32 inch tv that I bought from woot that really sucked. I love this set. Out of 5 sets in my home I like this 2nd best only losing out to my Samsung 65 inch plasma 3d smart TV

same here... who knows, maybe in one of the Birthday of Celebrations#39;s there will be a big screen!
As good a deal as this is, I've grown skeptical of Vizio's products.
Had a Vizio for years! Excellent TV. GO Beta Koi!
Bummer... Bought this yesterday and today, the very same item just came up on "eBay Frenzy" for $249.99 sold by "quickshipelectronics". Free Shipping, etc. etc. Wish I could get a price match...wonder what WOOT has to say???

We would say that we don't price match. Sorry.
