Which is nothing compared to Woody1150.

I also just got invited to the beta test for PlayStation Now, so my son and I tried streaming Papo & Yo. If they price this right, the service could be pretty killer.

It was nice being able to fire the game up almost instantaneously rather than kicking off the download and coming back an hour or more later to finally play.

Like Frostbyte, I mostly jump into GTA V Online.

I was also playing Tomb Raider for a little while, but I completed it in a couple days. Then I moved onto Bioshock Infinite but I completed that in a day. My problem with games like those is I get hooked on them and will play them for hours (like 6-8) at a time.

Here, we can also discuss the video/board/tabletop games WE NEVER FINISHED

-Too difficult?

-Game take WAY too long?!

-Did you just simply give up because it lost it's luster?

Here are today's picks:

Space Hulk (Board Game)

DISCLAIMER: This game is awesome. I am in NO WAY scrutinizing the gameplay or sheer amazingness of this game. SPACE HULK 4 LIFE.

However....I have had multiple occasions where certain games took FAR too long to finish.

Space Hulk is a two-player board game that pits Space Marine Terminators against Genestealers (which have an uncanny similar appearance to Ridley Scott's "Alien").

The gameboard is setup like a big jigsaw puzzle and can be interchanged through various missions and scenarios of your choosing.

The game is SUPPOSED to be fairly fast: 30 mins per game.

The last time I recall playing this game though, I remember it taking nearly an hour and a half!?

(2nd Disclaimer: In retrospect, it's clear to me that maybe I was playing with a VERY slow to action opponent...)

Either way, it's kind of left my appetite for Genestealer destruction a bit empty.
I shall hopefully return to it's Hulky embrace one day...

Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion

I've seriously only dented this game 10 hours and just simply gave up.

Why you may ask?! THIS GAME IS EPIC HUGE LONG.

I heard stories of people committing to all side quests, expansions and main game quests.

This game could EASILY consume nearly 365 days of a persons life.

Silent Hill 2

THIS GAME WAS FARRRR TOOOO SCARY TO FINISH.

All you were equipped with is a flashlight, sparse amounts of ammunition and a firearm...OH....
and BUTTLOADS OF FEAR.

Zombie creatures out of every corner, ominous dark music in the background no matter where you went.

If you had reoccurring incontinence issues, this game was most certainly NOT for you...

Which games (board/video) have you given up on? Too difficult? Got distracted?

OH man! I haven't seen that game in years! I totally remember when we sold the Incredible Hulk Smash board game.

I recall some of us in RMA wanting to purchase the game to play on lunch breaks!

It kinda reminded me of Mouse Trap for some reason LOL

My son still pulls it out occasionally. It's a bit of a pain to make all the pieces, but smashing them is fun. We also numbered the buildings on the inside to make setup easier since several of them look similar. I don't know that it really matters, but I'm a stickler for following the rules!

It's not really like Mousetrap, but that's a good game to feature for frustrating games. I don't know how many times I got to the last step and the darn net wouldn't drop!

I haven't played Space Hulk, but I did "try to play" the full fledged Warhammer 40k tabletop game. A couple friends convinced me to give it a try. We played several times and at first it seemed fun even though it took FOREVER to play a game. (Like 6 hrs) It was still fun to hang out and drink beers while playing.

After a few revisions were made to rules and such, it just got to be way too much. Having to roll 25 dice in one battle sequence was absurd. Not to mention, I didn't really keep up with all the "rules" and basically went by what my friends told me. I think at some point they just started making up their own because it seemed I never won anymore.

Yeah, Watch Dogs is getting some mixed reviews on the graphics and some gameplay issues but I got to play a little bit of it when it came out and I was impressed.

I'm also very interested in giving Assassin's Creed 5 a chance. I played up until 3 and haven't really played in awhile.

Lemme know if you like Black Flag, I might try and get it as well.

Yeah! that's so peculiar that they're going with law enforcement/urban warfare instead of the traditional battlegrounds.

Could make for an interesting, new game.

Not sure if an E3 header is coming, but after watching the Sony press conference, I'm very excited for:

LittleBigPlanet 3
Uncharted: A Thief's End

I'd also consider:
Dead Island 2 (never played the first one)
Far Cry 4 (bought 3 but haven't played it yet)
No Man's Sky
ABZU (Journey was great)
