The last two woot offs I was here at the end of the last thing on Woot was a monkey and on Home Woot was the KY Date Pack... They did sell the Date Packs yesterday so maybe I'm off or just hopeful but...

But, often, during Woot-offs, members of the Woot! community purchase these "junkier" items in support moving on to the next item and ultimately achieving the opportunity to purchase a "bag-of-crap".

Giving credit to Woot!, it appears the quality of the Brigade of Campers has gone up in recent months, but there's no denying that the lack of regular opportunities to not just purchase a "bag", but to enjoy typical Woot! purchases that grew Woot! to the reputation is has to day, is certainly off-putting to the longtime Wooting community. The individuality of Woot! has directly led to the success to date, and the recent lack thereof has recently let down it's most loyal supporters.

Whether you think it's right or not, the standard has been set, and there are expectations to be met.

EVERYBODY needs at least three monkeys. I get them every time, and give them to the children of my friends and siblings. Kids are smarter than they look and quickly figure out that they can make the monkey scream by smacking their brother/sister/cousin/dog/parent with it.

I just love watching the minivans drive off with the sweet sound of Woot screaming monkeys in their wake...
