It appears that guy is killing Marat softly, with his palm... You get points taken away for forgetting the aromatherapy candles and Portishead playing in the background. But it's still a damned fine job.

The term "the little death" or "the small death" is a reference to an orgasm, I believe.

Nothing like those prehistoric earth drawings, eh what?

This is in 16:9, but depending on the framing, part of it could have been in the non-widescreen. So, do with it what you will. It was amusing enough for 15 minutes of chopping.

Bob, during a darker time in his career. Here he is painting a happy little autopsy.
I know this doesn't fit the contest rules. I never even get a mention, except for my obvious poor taste entries, anyway so I'm just having fun. I was going to add Bob painting some friendly little bushes or trees or something but, oh well.

Now, I don't think adding something to just the left or right is a problem at all, it's the defacing the original which is a shame. I hope last week was a bright new beginning for the "Follow the rules" crowd, It's unfortunate that the funny "Shemp" one got a monkey prize, but the rules were to use a tv show.

Before you ask, no, I didn't enter. The ones that followed the rules far surpass my abilities. Also, you don't have to be an artist to be a critic.

OK, I know this painting has become cliche on this web site, but if I can't be trite and redundant, then what's the purpose of living?

Sometimes old people just need a change. I wondered what that smell was.

Followed closely by me - for the same reason - just to have fun. If you can't enjoy chopping, what is the point. I try to have at least one that follows the rules - and sometimes - it even pays off ;-)
BTW - I love the Rockwell one too! I know you don't nominate yourself - but you should - it is that good!
