Anyone know how these keyboards feel? Are they clicky, spongy, or what? If they're reasonably solid I might consider this, but if they're just generic and plasticy feeling, then I won't bother.

Scenario:
Bandolier of Carrots appears on the screen.
I click on the "I want one" button
I am routed to the purchase page
After typing my password and selecting 3, I am given an error message.
I smash my keyboard on the desk with frustration.
Moments later, I have another ps/2 keyboard plugged in and ready for action.

Excellent woot. Always looking out for the consumer.

I'm in for a 10-pack. I'm friends with a guy that owns a computer store, and I could easily pawn the remaining 8 that I won't use on him for $20. My grandma needs a new keyboard and so does my sister, so they will pretty much pay for themselves. Good woot!

By the way, anybody wanting to sell these on ebay...don't even bother.

Hmm, now there's a thought. I have had the same keyboard for years and I've worn all of the most frequently typed letters off. I wouldn't use the new ones, I've been switched over to a split ergonomic board for ages, but I can see me prying off letters and replacing worn out ones til the end of time with 10 spares!

Way to go, Woot!

why did they pick 10? why 10 keyboards?
why not 9? or 11?

i'll tell you why.. because 10 sounds official. 10 sounds important.

a quick glace at sold ones and found penny listings with s/h ranging from $6.95 - $10.95 (not for exact same kb, but most consumers imho only see 'keyboard', not brand, quality, etc.)
