I have one of these from my OmniFi purchased here on Woot. I made the appropriate changes to the driver (probably the same change that their modified drivers have -- changing the USB vendor & product ID from another of their drivers) and was able to make it work with Linux using the ndiswrapper modules.

So -- they're not Windows XP only!
