Will this work with the 360?
best. description. ever.
Will this work with TiVO?
Does this work with a Mac?
I thought it was a "Wireless USB" device... but it turns out it's a 802.11G device that plugs to USB 2.0... not that interesting!
so... is the router included??? jeeze, i think we got it woot!
doody, i just bought a wireless router because i didn't feel like shelling out 40 bucks for an adapter for my wii...
Note: This post contains pricing information for future reference because it is generally not available elsewhere once the next Woot has been offered. Netgear 108Mbps Wireless USB 2.0 Adapter $17.99 + $5 shipping condition: Refurbished product(s): 1 Netgear WG111t 108Mbps Wireless USB 2.0 Adapter
the useful linkage blog has the comparison site links... cuz i seriously love netgear and all their products... you know?
I got one of these in the Woot-off and it works pretty well, especially for a refurb (rox0rz!). If it's anything like mine though, it doesn't come with any setup or drivers, so you may want to get those ahead of time somehow.
Meh, I'm not a fan of netgear wireless devices. Both D-Link and Netgear have let me down with constant signal losses. G'nite.
That was an odd, and not that great writing. For a product like this, they could have at least tried. Not the usual A+ stuff. Maybe tomorrow. (sigh)
I have 2 of three of these left I got in the "woot" bundle package which included a router. Amazingly easy to use with winXP, no drivers were needed and I'm also using one of the routers. Really not sure what woot charged me, But no complaints as not an issue running on winxp, 2003, and even used it on vista.

Nope. compatible adapters
Will it work with a Mac?
$16.49 for 2G at supermediastore.com with free s/h
this is like the 13 zillionth time this item has been up. I have one from WAY back when and it works adquatly
Amazon this!
Not 802.11n just some more inferior protocols with alterative modulation types, i'll pass.
I've got two they work great.
This adapter has to use ndiswrapper for use with linux. It is also not compatible with kismet.
i bought this during the woot-off and it sucks. it loses the connection sometimes every minute. pay a few more extra bucks buy a new one.
Manufacturer's Page Is it Mac compatible?
http://stores.channeladvisor.com/Digitalet/items/item.aspx?itemid=1577584 Netgear WG111T Digitalet $22.45 $4.95 shipping
This will not work in OS X or on a Xbox 360. I would have bought one if it worked in either.

Hah... told you that some idiot would say that 802.11g isn't fast enough for them. To bad woot delete that post too. Anyway, seems like a good deal for what, 18 bucks? A lot better than what I paid for the card I put in my desktop. I just wonder if it works that great... Netgear is a good name.
CNet Reviews Someones stealin my Froogle thunder!
Used mine last weekend and it worked fine. Had to download the driver from the web site but that's not a big deal.
No and Don't try the one that will by netgear(looks just like it), it loses connection all the time and is a POS
There are no drivers at the Also it's hard to type with this damn ad covering the text box!
no thanks...laptop already has wireless, how many of these do we need night woot night diapey;-)
Isn't this something that most people already have? It is a good price if you need one.
Isn't WEP encrpytion a thing of the past?
Don't know, but I seriously doubt it. There were two 54 Mbps models by Netgear that looked identical except for the serial number. That indicated the chip set. One model worked. The other didn't. Tivo has never had good support for wireless. I ended up using a wired connection with a USB ethernet adapter. If you want a wireless connection, I'd suggest buying the wireless adapter directly from Tivo. At least then you'll be sure it works.

I have mine from the last woot sitting in front of me, and the 360 about 12' away. I'll go check.
