OK, I have to ask. Pblgov, when you click on here to see the last post, where do you wind up?
Because ever time I click to see what you said....I wind up back in the middle of the thread on a direct quote from Alien. Every time.

I can't be the only one who wonders about stuff like that.
Like, why did my son, at age 3, make his bed a few days after my grandfather died. Grandpa was 93, he only remember I had a son, he never remembered his name. Would come over and ask,"where is the boy"

Grandpa was living with my mom for a few months before he died, and he made his bed whenever he got up, even if it was just to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night.

Son never made his bed before, or after that one night. I still think it was his great-grandpa saying goodbye.

We all want grandpa's life....was still taking walks every day, got sick and died a few days later.

Well, I guess he wants us to keep this going!
There are months of posts where he was gone, but I always end up on a page where he was there.

Btw, I hope we had more than the donations on the space ship. I'm guessing that most people didn't want Kingsteel to know their business. I hope you sent something to Argh's sister though.

Guiding Eyes For the Blind. Give, or become a puppy raiser. How cool! A puppy you can take to the mall! A very worthwhile organization.

Yes, yes, yes! As I've said before, I've done work for GEB since 1989 and have had two of their "released" pups. I've met amazing people and even more amazing dogs through the GEB community.

Did you hug and kiss Gimma, her husband and the dog?

I'm sure she and Gimma would have hugged and done the cheek kiss; they're both New Yorkers. It's what they do. You'd think she tried to kiss you on the mouth as much as it traumatized you.

Yes. All three. Hubby did too, well hugged. He didn't meet the dog. Gimma wouldn't let him into the apt!

The latest charity I contributed to is http://www.locksoflove.org. You donate hair to make wigs for kids who have lost hair due to chemo, disease, or accidents. I cut off a 12" ponytail last week.

Awesome! A teacher I worked with grew her hair out and then donated it every couple years.

Way to go!

great charity
thanks for doing that
on a personal note: my SIL when she was 10 had leukemia and not only did they (or a similar org.in Canada) take of her, when she wanted a haircut like the rest of her class, she cut it, and they brought her a new one and a used one (the used one for cutting when she felt the need).
