DODGEBALL CONTEST #26

gwp has fallen on tough times and in these times, we rally our support until he is at full strength. In the meantime, we celebrate! It’s time for Dodgeball! As your lovely runner-up in contest #25, it is my duty to choose the contest. It is with great hope that I have done gwp proud. Perhaps gwp, if he’s up to it, will choose the winner of this contest from the top 3 choices.

Television stars and movie stars congratulate themselves on a regular basis. The Emmy Awards, the Academy Awards, Golden Globes. The theater has the SAG Awards and the Tony Awards. Music has the Grammy’s, MTV Video Music Awards, and the CMA. Best movie, song, actor, actress, choreographer, costume designer, and director. The Best best boy even gets an award. The general public tries to emulate the euphoria of award giving by giving ribbons, merit badges, trophies, and certificates to everyone who plays the game. “Oh, you can’t catch, throw, or run? Well, here’s a We Needed One More Guy on the Field and YOU Are It! award!”

It is time woot! celebrates our successes, too! Sure, we have a Dodgeball trophy, but we need more awards to keep our self-esteems boosted.

Your task for Dodgeball Contest #26: Develop and create an award, trophy, plaque, certificate, merit badge, patch, ribbon, or whatever else you can think of that celebrates us! You can make them general that can be reused again and again, or you can really make someone feel good, and award it to them right here in this forum!

Rules and conditions: The regular fine print rules apply: scrimshaw, tattoos, ice sculpture, yada yada yada, jpeg, png, or gif. 550px wide. Have your entry posted here by Wed. 5/2 11:59pm (SWT). Voting will commence immediately after, until Thurs. 5/3 11:59pm (SWT). The top 3 awards will be given to gwp to choose the best AND, A SPECIAL AWARD WILL BE GIVEN TO THE WINNER. (All participants are equally winners, so they should feel good about themselves, and will receive a Participation Award).

As the other 'unmentioned' slacker involved in this, it is with great pleasure that I finish my part of the whole shenanigans, and award GWP his late trophy- that he may never see.

Regardless, in honor of the fourteen times he's won the dodgeball contest, we finally get around to awarding his special, 3D virtual trophy. His bright, unflinching ability to tackle these contest subjects time after time, gutting it out without blinking, produced a trophy bright enough to share the stage with him- the Sun trophy!

urine is sterile.
stuff you can measure in urine is a lot easier to measure than in blood- there's no protein in urine to bind the compound, so they are free and measurable.
there's a lot to be said for measurements made from urine that can't be said about blood.
easier to mark your territory with urine than with blood.

seriously, urine can be very acid, or very basic, so you could burn yourself with it. Also, I think it can be sticky, and it smells bad, and anyway, ugh.

Because we don't wash our hands enough as it is! Also, you touch other stuff down there besides urine (I assume you don't hold your hand in the stream). I also agree with Joe about the smell issue, eww, please wash!

My drawings are made with Windows Paint, because that is all I have. I don't erase my layout sketch because it isn't worth it.
