I hate that it takes a month to shut down 100 page PWA when it used to take a week to shut down 200 pages of PWA.

Nope. Hearing it, though, changes the way you feel.

Not as much as being the one that CAUSED someone to feel disappointed.

Just came through a year of that. Coming out the other side of it sucks, too... but less and different.

What are you moving on to? I'm doing some moving on myself...

I hate wondering instead of doing, yet I find myself wondering...

I hate being right most of the time (trying to continue the thread). Most people don't want to hear the truth, they want you to agree with them, regardless of "right" or "wrong." Then again, most people won't listen anyway.

From someone who has had the money (made $120/yr salary in my best year financially), it's not worth it. $40,000 is fine for me, $60,000 is comfortable, anything above $80,000 just isn't worth chasing - the effort is more than the reward. The lifestyle is what matters... and I wish I'd understood that in my twenties. It sounds like you're going the right way...

Cruzer, you just graduated college, you have a good job, and you making a great salary for someone your age. You have a lot to be proud of!

Probably the main reason some of us freaked about you know what is that we've dealt with a lot of stress in the 20-30 yrs we have on you but we have to remember that your life is yours, it's different than ours, and you've done great up till now so there's no reason you won't in the future.

The rest will come. You're the typical impatient young person. Give yourself a break. I think you're a great guy. I hope my son turns out as well as you.

I hate that we have caught each others colds on woot and now it seems we are passing around a good case of depression.

Lets go find who got it first and beat them up.

Unless it turns out to have been me.

Then we need a different plan.

Since when is depression is a virus?

My family (except for me) were all Missourians. I don't have much of an accent until I get a couple drinks in me. Funny though that my 2 brothers that were born in MO but grew up here have/had thick Texas accents.

You need a set-up like my son has upstairs. His bedroom & bath are off the bonus room. He basically has a 3-room suite. You can shut the doors to the bonus room and it's completely private.

It's an extra room in a house for you to use how you want. It's usually very open and upstairs in a 2 story home. It's usually not well suited to be a bedroom because of its open desigh.

Most of the time it's a playroom or entertainment room. It's very common in newer (last 20 years?) homes. This bonus room (and the one in the previous house in WA) has a sleeper couch, large TV, and all the video game consoles.

I've never heard of one. But then I haven't shopped for a new house in 36 years.
