If I didn't already have two of the SanDisk refurb (rox0rz!) ones from the woot-off before last, I'd totally get these. Plus they're bigger in capacity than the SanDisk ones. As for capacity, I have about 60 songs on the 256 SanDisk one, so I'm thinking roughly twice that for these?

Thinking about getting one. I got the pink Sony and LOVED IT (except having to load the software yuck) but loved the actual product.

But it was so small I put it in my pocket, forgot about it, and washed it in the washer. It won't work now... go figure haha!!

This is not as nice as Sony.... but it looks I should go for cheap considering this is my 3rd MP3 player I am having to buy.

Good rule of thumb is about 5mb per song. This means approximately 100 songs.

Oh well, no OGG format on this one. MP3 and WMA is great, but for those of us who want DECENT sound.... Besides, for those of you who actually need DRM, this is almost definitely NOT DRM compatible. That means no "Protected WMA".

Deal extreme dot com has the same kind of product for less. The chipsets for these players is all the same.

3504 sigmatel chipset or 350x - They all have the same features. It just depends on what the mfg decides to connect ie the backlight or internal battery or even hard drive. - The voice quality sucks. It's barely useable. Check out the site above before you decide. They have some other versions which might be what you're looking for

BTW from my experience it will play any mp3 you throw at it but I 've not tried all of the conbinations that one can imagine. So YMMV.

Pink is not a problem (pink is the color of my true love's ......)

512MB, now that, however, is a problem.
