wow... nice one... anyone have hands on experience? do tell... in addition, useful linkage is updated... comparison engine links and such...

I do a daily woot blog where I talk about the woot, link to CSEs, find reviews, etc. A few people have told me it's useful. Google "useful linkage" and there it is.

I tried on of these out. The sound was much better with the corded headphones that came with the phone. This just makes it too bulky if you are out running. It would be illegal to use while driving.

is that a 2.5mm jack or a 3.5mm jack?

I've never seen something like this before, that's really neat. I wonder what the batter life is like on it.

Can it just be plugged into an mp3 player and I can use the earbuds to listen to it? I'm confused if you need "blue tooth audio device" or... if a mp3 player that is blue tooth even exist.

LilBuddy

quality posts: 0 Private Messages LilBuddy

So I'm guessing it is 3 pieces. You have a blue tooth transmitter you plug into the phone, blue tooth receiver, and head phones that plug into the receiver.

I'm wondering...

Does this:

A) Connect to your phone via bluetooth while plugging the dongle into your mp3 player?

or

B) is this exclusively meant to be used by one device at a time.

can i use different headphones or those ear buds not detachable?

do both receiver and transmitter have rechargeable batteries?

So, if I understand this correctly the BT transmitter can plug into an MP3 and broadcast to the headphones (which are wired to a receiver). Is it just me or does this combo seem pointless, since the headset is wired to a receiver. Or you can use the BT receiver with the wired headphones to listen to your BT phone.

Basically, a BT transmitter for your MP3 player and a headset with a BT receiver.

Note: I stand corrected... yes, you would also need to plug the BT transmitter into a phone (so you don't need a BT phone as the description mentions). So your phone would need to have an audio jack.

Basically... a big bulky peice of junk!

I think the jack is a 3.5 mm and that it's not for bluetooth audio players. You probably plug that into a regular mp3 or whatever and that makes it bluetooth. And you just use the bluetooth in your phone; it probably switches automatically to your phone when you make/receive a call.

I need to find something about the headset quality on this. The concept is not bad, but the quality of the earphone audio is a concern for music.

this product is meant to be plugged into your mp3 player (the transmitter is plugged into your ipod, etc...) and will connect through BT to your cell phone. So, in essence, it connects your BT phone, and your now BT ipod, with the same set of earphones and switches between the two...

I think I am in.. for more than one.

if u have a bluetooth phone/other device u will not need to plug anything into it.

the square thing with the headphone jack is basically a bluetooth transmitter, enabling any device with a headphone jack to broadcast music by bluetooth.

would work perfect with that 79$ brown zune many of us ordered.

i am definitely buying this, regardless it wont match anything.

I can keep the receiver in the same pocket as my phone. That way I won't have to plug the headset into the phone, I can just plug it into the receiver... which is right next to the phone. Wait a minute. This think is useless. Tell me when they come up with a wireless soupcan on a string.
