I haven't received the notification either. Hopefully, soon since those are part of the Christmas presents to my nephews I'm flying to visit by mid December!

I finally got a tracking number today, but there was nothing to track still. This is horrible! Woot should due some kind of refund or coupon for this mess!

Looking back over the years at all of the things we have boughten from Woot!.. Only a few are still in working order/condition. But When's the harvest!!! It's not really about the quality now is it!!????!! LOL

I finally got my tracking number. But when I got it I got the "Sorry, no parcels matched your tracking numbers. Please verify the entered tracking numbers and customer id are correct." message. It's probably still at the Woot warehouse waiting for it to be picked up.

I finally got the tracking number. I guess I'll have to wait until the afternoon/evening to get any information about it. Hopefully, they'll arrive on time to take them to my nephews!

It occasionally takes a few (business) days for the tracking information to kick in, depending on the method of shipment as well.

chill out man. you'll get your toy trains soon enough.

usually takes a day for the electronic shipping number info to be populated on UPS/USPS/Fedex site, it has nothing to do with Woot. Yell at your deliveryman if you think it will make you happier.

I guess I was expecting faster shipping based on the previous items I'd bought, but we are getting into THAT time of the year. If nothing by Wednesday I'll have to light a fire under 'em. I want to have time to play with these things before I have to wrap them!

Well my little train has left Texas and should be on its way to Wisconsin. The last item I bought that went SmartPost took 7 days from the day of shipment to get to my door. Now I just wait a little longer and I'll be staring at the train set I'm not sure why I even bought.

It's been 10 days since wooting this one and the train is still not shipped? Hopefully I didn't just get poked with a fake woot... although, that sounds like a good time;)

Not just me. Holiday or not, the trains should not be taking this long. Never bad mouthed Woot!, said "this is horrible". Which it is! My delivery man would not get away with this, because I would never let anything take this long to be shipped, without major consequences! (some peoples have been shipped to sortment centers, but others like mine shows that it hasn't even left yet, wether it is a technical error or not, I still think Woot! should try to contact us or give us some kind of exlaination rather than leaving paying costomers wondering)1. And if you really thought that much different than I do, you would not be on here, waiting for some kind of news like the rest of us. Some people are actually counting on them being here when we need them. I do not know about the rest of the people on here, but I bought them with a plan for them in mind, and would like to keep that plan.

I believe your trains aren't actually being "shipped". Woot decided to save some money and just loaded batteries in them and pointed them in your general direction.

I agree with the "chill out" crowd.

They had a Woot-Off with 40,000 items, then 24,500 of the trains the following day, then 21,600 of the helicopters. That's a lot of merchandise to ship (though ironically I already received my helicopters).

Its a $4.99 toy. Don't loose sleep over it.

how am i supposed to chill when it never said it would ship by smartpost when i bought it. now after all this wondering i still have to sit and wait hoping that it arrives by the time i need them. if they were fedex'd like i figured it would be it would probably be here tomorrow. i just hope that it arrives by the 5th live the estimated arrival date says.

just because you dont need them by a certain date dont go around telling people to chill, besides it's not like anyone was getting hostile or anything. everyone was just wondering what the friggen deal was.

I agree. I specifically checked to see if these were smart post or not. There was no mention of smart post. While these have shipped and will make it to the east coast before christmas I'm sure, I'd never had taken the chance had I known.

Very bottom of the listing, scrolled all the way down, and what did I see? The smart post icon staring back at me.

I almost didn't order it because of Smart Post, then realized there are tons of people out there who got a hell of a lot more to worry about then whether or not a $10 item will ship flawlessly over a busy holiday weekend.

Plus, its always great to tell the kiddos that Santa left one hidden under the sofa.

My trains left the Dallas sortation center today, but they are estimated to arrive in Washington on 12/4. Maybe they are on a real train... in a head wind... and they haven't finished the track yet. Luckily Christmas is still four weeks away. Hope you folks who need them soon get them soon.

Mine landed in Atlanta earlier today so they will probably be here by Thursday. Atlanta is only 2 hours from here, but with the scans it's probably 2 days.

Well mine has got no info from the tracking number after 2 days, (Not even the sortation center) however till yesterday it was saying that the tracking number must be wrong.....

Oh & for those of you who hadn't noticed it had clearly stated on the page that it was to be shipped smartpost.....

I used to love woot & I still love Amazon, however the combo ain't as attractive ...

I checked before I bought if it was shipped smart post or not. There was no snail picture, so I assumed it wouldn't be shipped smart post. Bad of me to assume I guess. Still hasn't left Texas and has to make its way to NH. I will be waiting awhile...

We're assembling a crack team of half-Roomba, half-Leak Frog commandos (sweeper team?) to infiltrate SmartPost and force them to update their tracking information in a more swift manner. We'll let you know how it works out. Oh, if you happen to hear the sound of a gunfire followed by the siren song of a Leak Frog, just run.

well.... got my train yesterday. I'm VERY happy with it... for $10 you can't go wrong. My daughters and I put it around the Christmas Tree and they sat there and watched it go round and round for quite a while.

I would *highly* reccomend using NiMH rechargable batteries... this little train seems to really suck the batteries down.

Thats what happens when they stop caring about customers and they start making enough money to not give a frozen banana stick.
