GREAT WOOT!!! These are fantastic, but we already have 3 of them, and bought everyone that needs one a Roomba last year for Christmas. Woot needs to get the Looj on here, our gutters need some cleanin'.

I got one of these from woot (exactly the same product) and couldn't be happier with it. It really is an incredible product. Highly recommend!

only $100 with a scheduler? that is a great deal. damned if i didn't already have one.

...which my housekeeper keeps passive-aggressively knocking out of it's charger.

Have one and it died under one of my couches. Battery would not take another charge. Still think I'm in cause of the additional 2 virtual walls.

hey think about it this way, if you have 10 roombas, thats ten times faster the job gets done.

These things are fabulous if you have pets that shed hair. I am thrilled with mine!

Roombas are cool they just need to send a little person along with it to clean it out every temn minutes. They pick up very well just a very small dirt compartment .(like my first girlfriend)

man, I already own this... the only roomba I own, it's great. I haven't set it up to schedule yet, I just run it when it needs it...
freaking cost me 145 or something

Love my schedular and want more Roombas but I am waiting for woot to throw the newer more powerful models up.

LOVE my Roombas. I have two vacs and one scooba. Customer Service has been great and the vacs have worked great for me. Works great on wood floors. Not fabulous on thicker carpet. Love that it docks itself when the battery starts to get low.

I had 3, forgot to hook up the virtual walls. came home and they all ran away. Now they're living free range in the woods, cleaning, mating, and making little tiny roomba's.

People, people, people, lock your doors, engage virtual walls and don't lose Huey, Dewey and Louey like I did. Family is inconsolible.

arg... I just bought the sage one they had on sellout woot for only $10 less I brought mine to work and everyone wants one now... I will have to tell them about this one in the morning...

I have the Roomba now and LOVE it. It will not replace your vacuum, but for those quick pic-ups in between vacuums, and also it is great, because it will go under the bed and under the couches. At this price, I say go for 3!

I got one of these from Woot a while back (not the scheduler, just a Roomba.) I'm kind of neutral on these. I think that if you were a "clean" family, they'd be great. But we live on a farm, have four kids, homeschool, have five dogs, a harem of cats and we're all pretty messy. You do have to kind of pick up to get this to work. BUT if you can get that stuff picked up or if you don't have a boatload of kids, this thing would be great. Ours died a month after buying it. Haven't gotten around to it, but I plan on hacking it and turning it into... Haven't decided that either.

YES my review is GET IT.

The people who are complaining about this needing to be cleaned too often NEED TO CLEAN THEIR HOMES.

I think of my roomba as a tool for day to day maintenance, not for actually CLEANING the carpet. But if you use it every day or two, you'll notice that it doesn't fill up the compartment to overflowing.

I use my Roomba in addition to my Dyson. It gets under the bed where one of my cats lives. AND I run it every day where I wouldn't pull out the Dyson to run it everyday because I'm lazy. :P

I've Wooted before, but this is my First Roomba Woot, so I'm a Roomba Woot Virgin No More. Now I can add the useless Roomba comments just like everyone else who has already bought one. Hey, I'm already doing that with this comment.

It's only a matter of time until an intrepid Woot member someone combines one of these with a Zune, a Leakfrog, and a few miscellaneous Mustek products to make a robotic death machine!

I just hope that I live nowhere near this person, and that he doesn't post the instructions on YouTube like that "HouseholdHacker" guy.

Yes, as matter of fact, you can also use the programming remote to program the 4199 to vacuum on a timetable just like the 4296. ;)

You know, mine don't have the scheduler. I can't think of when it would be REALLY useful. My brother has one with a scheduler and he uses it. Mine were more expensive than this though. Even if you didnt use the scheduler its great.

Does this also clean normal floor or only floor with carpet ? How affective is it for cleaning the floor without a carpet ?
