BS. Razer earphones are awful. There IEMs balderdash the bed on me recentlyh that I bought from Woot. I bought some $40 Sennheiser IEMs that sound infinitiely better and aren't going to frigging die on me like the crappy ass Razer ones.

Screw Razer. Buy some real headphones from an audio company like Sennheiser, Shure, etc.

the clips are annoying. they hurt my ears after like 10 min of use...

for those who find these great and use them when air traveling: do they not hurt your ears? is there a method to place the clips for comfort???

2007 is finally over. Man that sucked.

I bought two of these for my sisters for Christmas and informed them of the technique of rubbing alcohol + q-tip for removing the hydra-like logo if desired. They like them, and they say they can wear them for quite a while without discomfort and like the sound (coming from stock ipod headphone, which I consider very decent.)

you gave one of these to your wife on christmas? ! Wow, your a big spender..

I'll be honest I'm disappointed in this. I did not buy these in the last woot-off but I do have a close friend who did. He said he got better sound on his CD player with the headphones it came with. I also agree with the poster that said those clips are uncomfortable. I wear a pair like that at work and after about 20 minutes behind my ears hurt like crazy, and I wear glasses (when not wearing contacts)!

I guess it's pretty hit or miss on whether you'll have success with them. I'm personally looking forward to something coming by that I am actually interested in buying again!

Here's a very positive review. Most other reviews found the sound a bit tinny and did not like the bass. I'm gonna try them, maybe improve the sound by adjusting my Zune.

ZI got these last time...Not what I expected either. I find the bass response to be poor, not like everyone says. Maybe I got a bad pair? My cheap Sony sports headphones are far superior, while these are about equal to continental's $1.00 airline headphones.

has anyone successfully taken the little snake off the sides of these? I tried the alcohol thing and it didn't work for me.

Any ideas? I can't stand that ugly sign, it looks punk

I have big fat ears. My buddy let me try his. I'm in for one pair. That's two for each ear. Ought to be interesting listening.

I bought these last time for when they were $15 shipped. They are a pretty decent pair of headphones. I can wear them for hours at a time...

bass response is weak, but the highs and mids aren't bad. They obviously aren't the quality you'd get out of a $100+ pair of headphones, but they're fine for the sub $30 range.

I'm considering buying this now in case my current set break... I go through a pair of headphones every 6-9 months or so... stupid cords always break.

As someone else commented, the included case actually is useful... I thought it would be a pain and that I wouldn't use it, but I've been storing them in the case and I think I've had my headphones tangle at most twice, and I put them in my pocket almost every day since I got them about a month ago.

I've bought about half a dozen headphones in the last year and none were quite right except these. I love em. They are comfortable, sound good and my sansa fits in the case along with the headphones. Case is like an added bonus. I'm thinking about getting some more pairs in case mine wear out. These are awesome for the price.

I got two sets last time they were offered. I really like them.

No, they're not hugely high quality. They're not my primary headphones, which are big clunky around-the-ear beasties. But for carrying around with me, they're perfect, and my little iPod Shuffle fits perfectly in the case, to boot. I can't wear earbuds or in-ears, so those are out. I used to use the Panasonic RP-HS43 series clip-ons, which are comparable in size, but had a problem with them breaking or the pads wandering away. I don't seem to have that problem with these (and the case helps, too.)

My only complaint would be that the cord is too short. This is fixable with a simple extender. I'd say that for $25 you're getting a couple of nice sets of simple earphones to use while traveling or wandering around.

I don't like that I can't find new covers for my Bang & Olufsen's, so I'm trying some others out. I read the first few reviews here (since I couldn't find any on Amazon), and am thinking it can't be too bad at this price.

(I like ones that go around my ears, btw. Like my B&O's. Keep 'em in. But I've not bought some other headphones where folks complain too much about the ear feel.)

I'd love to see more cordless headphones offered, though! (A pair of corded, noise-cancelling, headphones I WOOTed recently have proved magnificent -- with the extension from my B&O's.)

And, for my part, I wish there were more product reviews and fewer whiny, o-dear-god give us BOCs posts. I think WOOT is muy lenient on allowing irrelevent posts abound.

In for the set!

I don't know what these other opinions are coming from. I bought three of these last time for $10 a piece and they worked great. They still do. You can hear bass extremely well. The sound quality is amazing. I have my volume at middle on my sansa and the person next to me can hear it. The clips aren't uncomfortable and I actually enjoy wearing them. Running with them is great too because they don't fall off. I've worn for 1 hour+ while at work and other places and my ears don't hurt. I love them.
I would buy more but two pairs is enough.

love them, though all clip ons hurt after a while, for the price they're great, as a matter of fact, using them right now.

Seems like a good price for a quality sound. But if you have some extra bucks, trust me and buy noise cancelling headphones. You can get them as buds or lightweight headphones. Yes, they remove background noise, which is nice...but the best thing is they allow you to hear all the music, including quiet passages, at much lower volumes.

Mandatory on a plane, but great anywhere, noise-cancelling phones are a must if you are listening to music outside the home or studio.

I LOVE these headphones. In fact, I'm tempted to buy a couple more pairs.

Sound quality is very good (superb when you consider the price). They don't sound as good as the m100s, and they're a bit leaky, but they're extremely light and comfortable.

The main downsides (for me) are the symmetrical cord, and the short length of said cord. Fortunately, these 'phones are very easy to modify cleanly. In fact, I grafted the headphones onto a Philips bluetooth headset (the one from woot, with two earpieces), and I'm wearing said headset to listen to the TV as I write this.

Here's a page that shows how I made my pair asymmetrical to my liking, and mixed up the parts to get some black and silver headphones:

Highly recommended.

Not what I was hoping for either, but actually very thoughtful of Woot to not make anybody regret celebrating the New Year instead of "clocking" what's going on here. ...but feel free to start the New Year with a nice Woot Off tomorrow maybe?

I bought 2 pair last time and gave one to a friend and one to my son. Both really like them. I don't think that they are the best for under $50, I like my Koss portapros better but for $10 they are a steal. No complaints from either about comfort so I guess it depends on your ears. I really don't think you'll find better for the money.
