I have found the easiest way to get my iTunes on my Sansa is using Rhapsody. The software offers a "import your itunes library option." Worked well and bypassed the DRM. Woot! I have chosen to subscribe to Rhapsoday, but you don't have to to use this option.
I came, I shopped, I left happy.

BryanAdcock wrote:I bought the 2Gb version a few months back on woot. Wierd thing is, even after i cleared off all the useless stuff that was on there it still only shows 900 Mb of free memory and says over 1 GB is used.. Any thoughts? I realize it needs some memory for operation but a full gig seems excessive
Have you checked the playlists? I had over a gig of stuff in preloaded playlists. The only way I was able to get them off was to load Rhapsody and use that, (since they were Rhapsody playlists). Hope this helps.

Also, keep in mind that this has the ability to add microSD chips. I have some 4GB microSD chips that I use in my Curve. To make this an 8GB player, fantastic!
And does the manual say it can use 4GB chips? An 8Gb player for $50..... that would be insane! But even at 6GB [4 on board and 2GB chip] that would be great capacity [remember the iPhone came out in a 4Gb and 8GB model. The 4Gb tanked, but still, Apple determined 4GB and 8GB was plenty.]
Apparently, it's only designed to use up to 2gb SD cards, but if you go to www.rockbox.com and use their software, it will tell you how to expand them. Check their FAQ's.
Anyone know if this player's microSD slot supports 4GB microSDHC chips? [which are the 4GB and above, high capacity.] Did not see anywhere that they said the capacity of the microsd slot. I'll check their site.
