It also costs more then liquid gold but, I thnk they must buy it in bulk.

great product, however, sams has the Kodak 5500 all in one printer for $99. Its a thought.

No problems with the printer I picked up for the wife when they had the December camera combo deal.

Picked up a pack of color ink and 180 photo sheets for $17.88 at Walmart. Prints look good, the premium paper would probably look even better.

that thing looks like its from the 90s. its pretty ugly if you ask me.

After reading the description of the Kodak 5100 I needed to be hosed down and have a smoke....

Not a bad "family room computer" printer. Cheap ink is very appealing. If I need better quality, I can just use the other printer.

So...I'm in for one.

You can network a USB printer. I have three usb printers on my network. Granted the computer they are attached to has to stay on, but that's a given.....

I ordered one of these today but had previously bought two (one for my daughter at college and one for my office) and have been very satisfied with both. Of course, I paid quite a bit more for the first two. The quality of the plain printouts and the photos is excellent. I did not have any problems installing or using the printers.

I just opened my Bathysphere of Curmudgeons and one of these was inside. What a coincidence!

In for one for my teenage son. He has been using our ancient but dependable and indestructible HP Deskjet 932C, but it prints really slowly. The HP currently needs new cartridges--figure I'll buy this all-in-one instead and hope it works. BTW, I've had great luck with HP laser jets and the deskjet my son has. But I bought an HP 6840 desk jet and it broke (literally a plastic part broke off in the cartridge mechanism) during the second year I had it.

Thats a pretty good printer I guess, I have a Lexmark.

Love Kodak EasyShare. Already have a camera and instant printer. Good price though.

Good friend just bought at Wally world Xmas time and had problem with ink heads but Kodak stepped up and immediately fixed problem by informing friend to take back to Wally world. They took care of problem and printer works great now.l Im in for one

I spent the better part of 4 hours with Kodak suport tis wekend. Most of it waiting on hold. You can network the printer (cmputer -> router -> computer with 5500 hardwired)
However, the remote computer can not automatically do two-sided printing. Told by support the priniter must be hardwired to computer in order to do two-sided printing.

Find that hard to believe if I can select two of the three printer priorities options Kodak should be able to fix the driver to do two-sided printing.

If you hear of way to get this to work in your jouneries .. let me know.

no response yet... I get groovy service everytime... luckily Woot is not about service, or they would have been out of business a long time ago.... but I keep coming back every day... damn you woot

I got my tracker working! I checked it about half an hour ago and it said it'll be here on the 16th. Hope everyone else's started working as well!! <3

I'm having the same problem. My tracking link doesn't work. Oh well. I guess I'll give it a bit.
