Speaking for myself, it has nothing to do with the opportunity to give Woot $8, $80, or $8000..its the fact that there are people who dont try to skirt the system, only have one account, and legitimately try to get in on the Baiting other consumers "lottery", only to get placed "in line" behind some of those who take advantage of the system, then become the victims of a software glitch when the opportunity comes again while those who create account after account end up with "the spoils"

It's more frustration than "despair", at least for me. I missed out on the first one, got placed "in line" on 2 and 3, then got the "already purchased" on #4. Am I disappointed? Yes! Am I frustrated? YES!

Let's see what the "fun solution" they offer is...

I also got the "already ordered" error when I tried to get it this evening. I was all over the one in the afternoon, as soon as it came up. I was kind of surprised when I got the message that I would be "in line" in case any previous orders got cancelled. Then I was right on the evening one, also, only to get the "already ordered" message. I was like NO NO NO I didn't get one, don't cheat me. But then after about 10 seconds of being mad, i got over it. Regardless of the fact that, evidently, I didn't get a Baiting other consumers, it was a pretty clever, entertaining event for April Fools.
All you people who are complaining... let it go.. you will survive. Don't try to ruin it for everyone who was able to get one. I would guess that your complaining is only going to negatively impact WOOT's desire to have fun events like this.
