Somehow I missed the post right above my initial post. I'll wait a couple of days, but it seems strange that the shipping label stated 2 are in the box. I doubt I'll be receiving a second. It makes no sense that they'd be shipped separately, and I think the response woot sent to the user above, was just a generic response that doesn't apply here. Just my 2 (no pun intended) cents.

got mine...it flew up about 20 feet and crashed on my roof. I crawled up and got it, but now I cant get it to fly straight (even after adjusting the trim)...its still pretty fun though!!

I see I'm not the only one with the "ordered 2, got 1" problem. The thing is, I've only received one e-mail, one tracking number. Where is my second chopper?

Same here. I only got one shipping email and one tracking number. That's why I don't believe the response another customer received, stating there could be multiple shipments for this one order. Additionally, there should be no problem with Woot sending us the second chopper we didn't receive. They must have thought something was strange, when they sold out online, but had all these left over helicopters after all were "supposedly" shipped out. I'm still waiting on a reply, explanation, and/or resolution plan.

I just got a response from Woot:

"We are currently processing the remaining units for shipment. We apologize for the delay."

It looks hopeful that we'll receive the remainder of our orders. I asked if we'll get emails with the new tracking information and I'm waiting on a response.

Next issue: I can't get mine to stop spinning clockwise. The Trim button isn't helping. In fact, the Trim button, nor the left/right control stick seem to do anything at all, even when it's stationary. The only thing that does give me any effect is the lift stick. Is it a bum machine, or am I just doing it wrong?

wow got mine yesterday and these things are really awesome.

There's no wind this morning and this thing will fly REALLY HIGH. I mean over 100 feet in the air. it finally lost sync with the controller, and i ended up landing it on the neighbors roof. But I was able to get it to fly off the roof without climbing up there.

I think I will keep it inside from now on, but I was pretty amazed at how high it can go.

Ah...looks like I should have come to the message board before sending service woot an email. I also only received one when I ordered two. I guess I will wait for my response from Woot. My problem is that I have already broken up an argument between my husband (36) and my son (5) about who gets this blue helicopter. My husband took the UFO when it arrived, and my son grabbed the remote control car I snagged from a Woot-off before my husband woke up for the day. I bought two this time to avoid such pathetic battles. I fear what will happen in a few years when my 1-year old son becomes old enough to want these toys also!

Yeah, really odd to only get one in the box. Has anyone gotten 2/3 in a box? Has anyone gotten multiple deliveries?

I used my April 1 Blushing Over Compliments coupon to get $5 off - and then I enter into what might be another woot error. Maybe I will come out from this one just was well as I did the 4/1 Blushing Over Compliments.

I have this same issue. (as well as being in the ordered 2 got 1 boat) It wont stop spinning even when I try and adjust the trim. I didn't know that it was supposed to be a lesson in why the tail rotor was so important to upward thrust...

I received an email back from woot service this afternoon...

We sincerely apologize for the shortage in your shipment. Unfortunately we no longer have the helicopters in stock to ship the remaining unit to you. So we have issued a refund of 9.99 back to your account for the missing helicopter. Please allow a few business days for the credit to post to your account. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you.

RAE

I also received notification from paypal very soon afterward that my money was refunded. As much as the boys wanted that second helicopter, I really appreciate Woot for refunding my money so quickly. Give me some time and I will score another one during a Woot-off!

Thanks Woot for awesome customer service!

Yes, I e-mailed their service department (the addy contained in the tracking e-mail) at roughly the same time I posted here on the forums.

I'd suggest contacting them. They recommend waiting a few days, to see if you get a second package.. but like I said with mine, one confirmation e-mail, one tracking number, the tracking marks it as delivered, not "partial".. so I e-mailed 'em.

Hopefully I'll get the second one before long and get a chance to see if anything is busted on the current one, or if I just don't know what I'm doing.

Hello fellow wooters. I just got my 3 in the mail today. Yes there are 3 in the box. I counted them 3 times to make sure. Sorry you other guys are having problems with woot shipments.

Anyone know where to get extra tail rotors? They seem to break really quick when you lose control and crash into something.

This is kinda wierd. The remote transmitter works on infrared signals and the stupid thing will not work in the sunlight. PAAAaaaAAaaaanCAAAAAKES!?? We did several test flights as to why it didn't respond to the remote control and finally pinpointed the problem: Does not like the sun. llo. It only works in the shade or better yet, indoors.

I just opened mine and ordered 2 but only got one. box was big enough for 2 they just stuffed it with air bags to fill space. I was actually thinking oh I ordered only 1 but checking my account shows I ordered 2. I have to admit though the 1 of 2 I RECEIVED WORKS REALLY well.

I'm in the same boat as so many other people. I ordered two and only recieved one.

If Woot can't supply the choppers, they should refund half the total charge, not just the 9.99. I ordered two specifically because there was no additional shipping charge for two.

Two choppers cost $12.50 each, one chopper cost $15.

My helicopter arrived today, and it's a piece of carp. I charged the battery per the instructions, but even with maximum throttle it does not generate enough lift to get off the ground. It just sits there, spinning in circles. Adjusting the trim does not come close to fixing the spinning, and twisting the tail doesn't seem to help, either. Complete waste of money.

Sorry that your order was shorted. Unfortunately, we have none of the ‘copters left. For this reason, I have refunded you for the second unit. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

on my account page I have a all or part of purchase has been refunded. I will have to see what they did. As far as I am concerned they breached a contract and did not deliver what was agreed upon(2 helicopters). They can not change the "deal" on their own. If there was a shortage they needed to let buyers and make a choice if they still wanted to purchase. This is really bad business practice.

I've had my chopper for two days now. It works really well. I'm really getting the hang of flying it. You have to set the trim every time you recharge it and fly it again, but that only takes a minute or so. I don't know people expect this thing to work outside when the instructions say it's for indoor use only. The sun blocks the infrared, and the wind will kill it.

I got to fly my copter for 2 days, and then it stopped being able to accept a charge! The green light on the remote doesn't come on at all anymore. Replaced batteries, made sure the pins are still in the right place and the plug was in the copter correctly, but no dice. Oddly, the blue LED still flashes when turned on, so the thing still has some power. It just doesn't produce enough lift to get off the ground like it did for the first 48 hours...

Same as many - bought two, got one. Complained to Woot, and they told me they'd send a second, then within minutes told me they didn't have nay more (probably because they sold what was left in the Woot-Off) and promptly refunded $9.99. As I told them, I ordered TWO because I have TWO sons. Breaking up their fights is not going to be fun, espcially if these are as fragile as everyone says and one of them breaks it before the other gets to play with it.

Well, a second showed up today. Same problem with it. I was trying to correct it (it was pitching forward, so I gently was twisting the tail as per the instructions), a hair got caught in the tail rotor, and even after removing the hair, it now does nothing but spin in clockwise circles. No amount of adjusting the trim prevents this, with either remote, on either chopper, making them both effectively unusable.

My charging port is VERY sensitive. Try plugging it in and watching the "charging" light on the remote to see if you can it to light up at all while trying to plug it in. I have to get mine just right, and then make sure nobody bumps the table, or the plug will come out.

Are you trimming correctly? You have to push the trim button down until you feel the button get pressed. My trim button is very sloppy, but it works when you press it down.
