It's probably Fedex...I got mine a couple days ago and on the fedex site, it still hasn't been updated since June 17th.

Yeah, I've been searching but to no avail. The tablet is working really well but what about when the nib dies??

Thanks for the tip about the Pad's LED flashing like crazy.

I was on the verge of sending it back then I came here to see that I had to restart and unplug to get it to "register" correctly.

Works great now even tho the LED on the stylus still don't light up llo:p

I emailed UC-Logic about this. They referred me to Evertek.com. After a couple of emails back and forth with them they said they only sell to resellers and referred me to geeks.com, which doesn't have them. I have another email into UC-Logic now. if I get any better information on how to get them I'll post here.

This is what i got back. Doesn't seem logical since the instructions show you how to change the tip:

Dear Nick,

Regret to inform you that according to our record, the pen (514 level) for model DigiPro WP8060 is not able to change the pen tip.
We would suggest you to buy a new digital pen from below companies in USA:

www.superpen.com/

www.image-land.com

www.aecpronet.com

If you are not located in USA, please advise which country where you are living and I will inform you the agent/distributor info near you.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

In regards to replacement nibs/tips, I didn't see anything (despite what it looks like in the instructions). The only thing that came close was a rare replacement pen called the P20 by UC Logic that only seems to show up at geeks.com (sold out) and the superpen.com site (I don't know how respectable they are or not) from the short search I went on.

Anyone know how to set up the pen sensitivity for Paint Shop Pro 8? I can get the pen sensitivity to work on the tablet tester, but I'm still working out the PSP8 part.

Finally got it,worked out of the box, sensitivity for the most part (I know Paint.NET has sensitivity, but i just need to mess with it),and it fits in the drawer below my keyboard.A little jerky, but overall a nice product so far.
Impossible to find replacement nibs.

Well, I'm never going to get mine. There was an "issue with the shipping of your order", and they've run out. Oh well, at least I'm getting a refund. I really wanted the tablet, but oh well. Maybe I'll go buy a wacom.

I played around with mine last night a little bit using photoshop. I like it alot when i finished playing with it i found out about the hot cells, very cool idea. Is the pen supposed to light up? The light on the pad lights up when the pen touches it. Always wanted to get one of these but could never justify paying $100 or more for it. This is a good inexpensive solution.

My Digipro arrived today. Everything works fine. Rignt now I am writing this post with It.The tracking number that Woot gave me was wrong. I have not tried it with any photo program. But I have tested the unit out with Vista all I did is to download new drives from the company web site.

My friend and I both got one of these but neither of us can get it to work. The pens seem broken. Yes, we've tried multiple batteries. Long story short, since they both won't work, is there anything we might be forgetting or overlooking that anybody knows about? Seems a little unlikely.
Thanks

Mine arrived today, my Fedex tracking number never showed any change in the status of the shipment, Fedex had not record of receiving it to be shipped and my email and pm to woot staff/service went unanswered which is probably what annoys me most. It was a wide spread problem apparently but responses were spotty which was disappointing. Im not saying they shold be shot or worse subject to a case of scurvy but, a reply to my email would have been greatly appreciated to give some indication of where things stood rather than simply watching for the truck to pull up or not. Its a gift for my daughter so I'll have to post later when shes opened it on how it worked.

Unless you typed it wrong the site is having issues. I tried with both Firefox 3 and the latest version of Safari; both times a message is given:

"Firefox can't find the server at www.uc-logic.com"

Safari can’t open the page “http://www.uc-logic.com/” because it can’t find the server “www.uc-logic.com”.

I'm not sure about Safari, but with Firefox 3 there can be problems connecting. I had that with several sites and then found this (link below) and was able to fix it. I can still connect to the UC-Logic site without any problems.

I've sent four emails; none have been replied to. Even a auto-responder would have been less rude than no reply whatsoever. I work in customer service, and this is the kind of thing that loses customers.

You may want to check your spam filtering is allowing responses from service@woot.com, or try another email address. There should be an auto-responder that assigns a case number.

Did you know shirt.woot ships internationally? Get you some!

Unless you're trying to send me Genuine CializViagra, there's nothing there. I've been checking. It's a comcast account and Woot is whitelisted on my email apps. Nothing's been sent.

I've never had problems visiting other sites using FF3. The site WAS down yesterday, no question. Or perhaps it was blocking access from certain ISPs? Who knows? The important thing is that I e-mailed UC-Logic support and they sent me the new driver version.

More importantly, the site seems to be accessible again =)

Worth $30 for sure.

I'm on Mac OS X 10.4.11, and the tablet isn't working after following the included instructions... UC-Logic's website seems to be down, too, so I'm basically stuck with a tablet that can't move, and can only click. Not exactly a very good experience for my first Woot. Can anybody help me out? Are there updated Mac OS X drivers out there, outside of UC-Logic's website?

Does the pressure sensitivity seem really low to you guys? There's no option to adjust it in the Tablet config panel, and I feel like I'm gouging the tablet just to get a slightly thicker line.

EDIT: Also, snooping through the PenTabletSettings.plist (for you mac people out there) it looks like the dimensions and position of the hotcells can be further tweaked. I'm not a big fan of the tiny hotcells (they're very difficult to hit unless you've labeled them and are looking directly at them) so I'm going to try tweaking them into hot corners.

Yes. Trying to get a thick line in Photoshop is like trying to carve my name in a tree.

BTW, Photoshop CS3 is the only program that I've used that seems to support pressure sensitivity. I tested the tablet on a few of the free drawing programs out there. On Windows, MS Paint and Paint.Net only draw at whatever the size of the brush. WinGimp 2.4.6 doesn't work at all for some reason. (I also tried it out in Pixia & GimpShop. Both programs crashed.)

It works in Photoshop Elements 6, but I'm not sure how much pressure I should have to use. Seems like a lot, I think. I also found that it works in Serif DrawPlus 8, an older version I have.

Mine has been sitting here for a week now, but I finally got it hooked up and working. The only thing that I can't seem to get to work is the "Flicks". I can bring up a window that explains how to do the flicks, and gives me a practice window to try it out in. Every time I try to do it, it tells me that it can't be done with a mouse, even though I'm not using a mouse.

Also, I did find a window that allows you to adjust the pressure sensitivity for those of you who are wondering. On my machine (Vista Home Prem) there is a little icon in the bottom right corner of the screen for a tabcfg.exe file. Run this file and you can get to the part that lets you adjust the sensitivity of the pen.

Yes, but does that just affect the tablet's individual programs or have you been able to get that to affect non-Adobe drawing programs as well?

If I'm looking at the same widget you are referring to (I'm on a XP), it's only affected the tablet programs such as writing in Word and the like. Still having issues with pressure in PSP8, however.

I've been having the same problems as everyone with the shipping and FedEx and it's really starting to piss me off.

FedEx insists they left the package at my front door, but we cleaned our entire porch and I checked with my neighbors and I never received my tablet!

Has anyone else still not gotten it at this time? Will Woot refund money or something like this? I've never had a problem in the past, but the most expensive thing I buy gets lost somewhere! grrr....

It works, I'm just not sure it worth the trouble. Every time I plug this in the computer sees it as new hardware and I have a 50/50 chance of the pen working. I guess you get it was too good to be true.
