Costco has them new for $1000, with a 90 day return policy and automatic 2 year warantee.

Hmmmm $849.99 + $5.00 / 90 days = $9.50 a day.....

only good for 90 days, then the warranty runs out and so do you......I don't think so....

I have one of these, non-respiffied though. They are fine and use less power than many of the other brands.

This might be mine!

After about six months, it kept turning itself off at random times. Finally, it never came back on, just short of my two year Costco warranty. Costco made good and I got a 47" and change!

Costco appears to have something similar for $999.99 new. $145 off for a respiffied. doesn't seem like such a good deal.

Barely under what they were new recently.

GREAT reviews (bang for the buck) from AVS and that other high-end AV review site with the artsy speakers nobody has heard of. Only weakness was the black levels, but when correctly calibrated, are minimal...and the newer models have eliminated most of the concerns.

If I didnt have a 61" and two 37s already I might have sprung for it.

Never wooting again. I've learned my lesson about inferior customer service and employees that illegally modify your signature (18 U.S.C. § 1029). Grow up, woot. (Edit of Mod edit: I am telling the truth about you modifying my signature to slander me. I am not attacking people. You dont qualify as "people" until you call me back and I hear a voice on the phone, then we can discuss how your employees are harassing me.) Still no response Since December 2010.

How well do LCD's travel through the mail/UPS/FEDEX etc.? I'm always concerned that having something like shipped would have a high danger of getting damaged. They're pretty fragile, aren't they?
