Very nice center channel! Really makes a difference over the small Polk Audio I had. :D

I don't know if anyone has helped you with this, or if you've figured it out, but that's an issue with firefox 3 and websites that have "https" in the front. Not all https sites do that, just the ones that firefox 3 doesn't have the security certificate for. All you have to do is click "Or you can add an exception" at the lower part of the box in the middle of the screen there, it will make 2 buttons appear, one button that says "Or get me out of here" and a second button that says "Add Exception.." If you click "Add exception a dialog box will popup with 3 or 4 buttons, you want to click the upper right most button that says "Get certificate" You will notice that new information appears on the current dialog box, then all you have to do is click "Confirm Security Exception" and your good to go, it will then allow you into the website. It just basically means "this site may be secure, but they got their security certificate through a website we don't know about, and your going to it at your own risk" going through that process basically says "I know what I'm doing, I'm fine with it, let me through".

ok so I opened mine on Saturday but when it was all the oridinary stuff, I wasn't in a rush to post (or take pictures)

15x air pockets (1x dead)
3x B&D power bricks (bought one for myself and one for my step dad 4/1, I'll take another as a backup and my mom mentioned donating the others to some cancer thing at her work)
1x Violin Trinket box (at first I was thinking of wanting to trade, at least for one of the other types of tricket boxes, and then i remembered my niece played viola, so it's close enough)
1x Wireless Mouse w/ Fingerprint reader (mom wanted to donate this too, but I want to check it out first. It may come in handy in my office where I use different passwords for different accounts *my personal most are the same so I don't forget them*, or even when I move w/ some friends, if we have a community computer in the house)
1x obligitory Memory Card Case (mom picked up, made some comment and I told her to take it b/c I have a smaller plastic case I use and keep in a pouch w/ my card readers)

I'm overall happy, definitely stuff we can use (or find a great alternative), and it seems like even though I bought the carp, my mom's the winner

I have a feeling that mine will be a similar (meh) when I open mine tonight. My mail was held while I was on vacation. Here's to hoping.

Um... Woot, please no used hypodermic needles and no pics of the pope. The bloody gloves and stained gym bag are fine, though. :D (well, depends on what sort of stains on that gym bag - ewwwww!!)

Wow, those SmartMedia cards might be worth a bit. I tried looking for some since they are needed for a number of Korg devices and they don't seem to be available anywhere but eBay these days.

i got my carp.. buy hey, it wasn't too bad. I have gotten worse stuff from people who like me. I got some Nike ipod armbands i can give to my nieces and nephews that got ipods from santa last year the rest of the carp (a small ceramic box, some electronic thing to attach to a laptop and a storage pouch for flashdrives) can be gag gifts or donations to goodwill. I will try again next time for the next Banjo of Consternation as soon as it comes up. i guess that means some late nights checking the site.

I have a digital camera that takes those things- an Olympus. Can't find the cards anywhere- I finally went and bought a newer camera b/c the replacement cards cost about $50 each when you can find them and normally only hold 128MB at that price. So yeah, if you can find a buyer, then they are worth a lot. If you can't find a buyer, feel free to mail them to me (no money of course :-) )because even though I got a new camera, I still have the old one! hahaha. But no, really, they have the potential to make you some money...

I was so excited to even make it through the order process! Once before I had gotten through to click on the stupidly large button, but never got an ack. This time, it all worked! So after two years of waiting, here's the haul:

I "was" going to get on here and say I was satisfied with my score. I opened my spotlight, and even though it "looked like metal" it was CHEAP PLASTIC. IT was UNOPENED in the retail box and DOES NOT WORK AT ALL.

1X Xbox wireless headset, new
1X Tootsie pop trinket, new (until the cats ran away with it...)
1X Targus memory card holder
15X Bags O Texas Air (now these are really addicting)

Maybe the DVD recorder is fixable - The dvd main power board is toast, so, no power to anything else... yet. The cable (pins) were bent , but i bent them back easy, and there were no screws holding it together. I love woot & their bags o carp!!! If anything else, I have fun waiting for it, wondering what I was gonna get, and when I do get it, we all get a hoot rummaging! Best part is, I have something new to tinker on! Watch out for that hot solder AHHH!

Woohoo! I got my three! They came Friday, and I got a Wireless Keyboard and rechargable mouse set, anna iPod speaker tube-thingy, and three Black and Decker Power Bricks things. Oh, and a memory card wallet in genuince goretex!
