Mine is in dallas and expected to get here(Louisiana) on the 13th. This is the slowest shipping I've ever come upon. I guess i'm just used to newegg's fast shipping.

In Wisconsin here, still waiting for these... must admit I'm getting a bit frustrated that it's been 11 days since I bought these and am still sitting on my hands.

I've still yet to get any e-mail shipping notice.

Edit: OK, scratch that. Looked at my account, and there was the tracking number. Turns out it shipped on the 6th. Silly Woot never sent me an e-mail!

I just received mine today (I live in Wisconsin, for those who are wondering). A big corner of the box was missing with completely mangled edges, all taped over with a "We're sorry your article was damaged during processing" sticker on it. The postman left it with the manager of my office, who accepted it, which ticks me off. If he had buzzed my apartment like he was supposed to, I would not have accepted the package. The box for the headphones was a bit smooshed, and it looks like someone opened them (the edges of the flap were ripped on top). There was tons of extra tape on the outside of the box, so I'm not sure if someone pawed through it or not.

The headphones seem to be working ok, but this is definitely not the service I expect from Woot! (Or the USPS, for that matter).

Also, maybe I missed it, but I don't remember seeing any indication on the woot site that these would be sent via smartpost.

A bit miffed here all around.

Got mine today. I have to say I'm really disappointed in the quality. I was expecting some huge bass by the sheer size of these but they don't come close in any aspect to my two year old Sennheiser EH150s that are half the size. I paid $25 for those too back in 06. Maybe mine came blown or something, but the Everglides don't handle bass well at all. I tried tweaking my Soundblaster X-FI's EQ but could not come up with anything that sounds remotely close to my cheap Sennheisers. I'll probably just pawn these off as a gift.

These are HUGE and look ridiculous I don't like them and now I'm stuck with them. I had planned on wearing them on long plane flights but I bet they won't even fit in my carry-on. ha ha. Honestly I haven't tried them yet so maybe they work really well but my gosh are they HUGE.

I have never encountered shipping this slow. Whoever "smartpost" is, they should be proud for lowering the bar below ground level.

When I look at a woot, if it mentions "smartpost" I'll pass. Saving a couple bucks by wasting my time is no bargain at all.

Slow azz shipping but it's here in Miami on 08/12/08. Detachable mic works well with my speaker set up. The headphone sound is decent for the price. Volume is low and there is no inline control. The headband is already worn after 3 hr of gaming use. The black skin is cracking. My room has AC and I don't even sweat but this thing is breaking down already. Kinda disappointed. I like the huge ear cuff because it does not press on your pinna. I'd rather have the Creative Fatality headset Creative had for $20 but it was DOA and they ran out.

Just got mine.

At first glance... these headphones are HUGE. I didn't quite believe all other people talking about how big they are until I actually saw them. Once I got the box open, and the cord unwrapped, I tested them in my computer. I tried with several fairly high quality Mp3 files (256 kbps is the biggest that I keep around normally), and I have to say that they sound pretty good. There seems to be something missing in the mid-range that takes something away. They're better for listening to metal or rap than softer types of music. I have a copy of NIN the slip laying around in FLAC, and I must say that it sounds REALLY good. Now for the second test: Gaming. My current vice as far as gaming goes is Unreal Tournament III. Which is perfect for this test, since it's a very loud, sound heavy game that doesn't rely on music. These headphones perform EXCELLENTLY for gaming... then again, that is their purpose. All of the explosions, and the voices sounded crisper than with my Logitech z340 desktop setup, though there's not nearly as much bass (that's to be expected, my desktop setup has a decently sized third speaker/subwoofer).

Also, they're hella comfortable.

Overall I'd have to say that there are only a couple of cons: They're heavy. Also, I wish this was a headset. The mic that comes with it is kind of cheapy, if it's for gaming, wouldn't it make sense to have a headset and not just headphones that come with a cheap-o mic?

I miss me some wootTV.

Got mine yesterday. So far so good... for $20 I honestly wasn't expecting much, but these pwn my old headphones. I also compared these to two Sony headphones my roommate has and these have better bass output for sure... I'm not sure if that means they are necessarily better, but I ain't complaining. Thanks Woot!

Mine came in finally. Delivered a day earlier than the estimated time too.

Definitely huge, but I also have a small head. Little on the heavy side, but I really only got these so I could listen to things on my computer without my brother yelling at me even with the sound all the way down.

So far sound is decent, but I don't have high expectations really. I wish the cord was on the right ear piece as I sit to the left of my computer with how it's currently set up. I do like that the optional mic is completely separate. Yes, it's one more cord, but it means I can use it without having to use the headphones. Mic had a little trouble picking up sound until I went in and adjusted some settings on my own system. Picks up very nice now.

Overall for $20 I'm pleased and this will do until someone finally makes a decent class 1 bluetooth stereo headset that isn't a small fortune.

Got them yesterday, I have had a chance to use them so I thought I would post a review.

Very nice headphones. They are huge, but that means they can fit compleatly around the ears instead of on them, which prevents them from being too uncomfortable for extended wear (still hot though). The sound quality may not be up to par, but its way better then anything you would get for the price here of $20. The sound positioning is as good as it gets without a full blown surround sound system/set of headphones.

The microphone is complete and utter carp. The clip broke before I even had it placed, with the spring going somewhere I could not find afterwords, and the sound pickup is erratic and of such low quality as to be useless. Even so, the headphones are well worth it, even with such a bad mic.

The size of the headphones also helps to eliminate noise heard from the outside. You would have to turn the volume up really loud before someone right next to you knew there was any sound at all.

All in all, a great woot. I with I had bought three, instead of just two, so I could keep one as a replacement down the road.

DAMN waste of money, i got a pair of KOSS headphones that i paid $18 for and it has better sound than this, the cord is good enough to bungee jump with since it's so damn big and the headset can be used as a harness that fits around your waist. the microphone is blotchy and it's not attached to the headset and they call it gaming, how can you game without a good set of microphones? either ways it can't isolate the noise at all. i was disgusted.

After almost a month of using these headphones 4 hours a day, gaming (Assassins Creed sounds amazing! you could even hear the flies buzzing around your head!) and music, there are no signs of wear or tear and the sound is almost up to par wtih my sister's sennheiser 650's. Didn't want to give a review too early, but so far an awesome woot.

great sound, awesome for gaming, music ect in your house but you would never go out in public with them. for this reason the stiff cord doesnt matter. the mike cant be used with a console or celphone, its just a standard 1/8" jack

alright, I know...three months past the woot, but I figured hey, why not. These headphones have great sounds, but .... and that's a big but, they are soooo huge it's really not worth it. Plus, the cord is SUPER rigid...after three months, it still looks like it's ready to be twist tied. Love the sound, but would not buy these again.
