I have since curbed my spending habits, but I still check Woot daily.

Ah, the good old days. The thing I love best about Woot is the writing--consistently clever and creative!

It's hard to believe that I was one of the FIRST 5k people to join up! Now if I could only get in on the Banjo of Consternation sale at least once.

My first woot was in October 2004, when I ordered the Woot! T-shirt. I don't know if I'm a charter member or not, I never got a certificate so I might have been just a little too late. Or my mailman might just suck. Either way, I'm going on 4 years since my first purchase and still haven't been able to get an order placed for a Blogging Old CEO.

The only woot I still have and or use is the T-Shirt i got in 2006!

I was woot charter member 963, I was at a summer internship at an Engineering company when I found the site and I picked up a 3-pack of the kensington fly fans for my first woot. I kinda forgot about the site for a bit til I got an email for $5 off my next order, so after that I started my ordering spree. I think I've dropped about 2 grand on this site.

First purchase july 04 - 12 purchases later I'm still a big fan. I honestly enjoy the commentary as much as anything else and I'm really glad Woot still feels like it first did. With this many imitators, how can it be wrong?
