Picture this: It can sit on a desk, you are in a meeting in your office, someone calls and the light gently blinks. You can look over and see who is calling without being obvious that you don't care what the person you are meeting with is talking about. (when your phone vibrates in your pocket, you have to take it out to see who is calling...the person you are meeting with might be offended) Anyway, I think it's cool.

Maybe not deaf, but hard of hearing. Or, even if deaf, you could use your cell to text message or even hook it up to a teletype.
