I already got the cheap 4GB PNY ReadyBoost in Circuit City, and it is slow -_-

I wonder how fast these will be? I hope they are not using junk low quality chips for our orders

I got the 8GB version of these drives a few weeks back and they aren't bad at all. It's one of the main reasons why I'm buying these.

If this thing doesn't ship out tonight this will be two Woot purchases in one for me.

My 500gig HD from Newegg came in Thursday and I ordered it Tuesday evening. with free shipping.

My experience with woot indicates they do not always send out the tracking info on time. I usually receive the product and then get the email with the tracking info, that has happened the last 2 items I have made a purchase. And I have always received the items within 7 business days.

i agree soccerbhai. I am pretty sure that happened to me the last time too. I never really got the tracking info (only that it had been shipped from the woot page), and the product was at my house before I had the tracking info. But this has been the longest it has even taken for me to get the "shipped" info from their website.

I just hope it arrives this week, if not, then I will be unhappy.

I hear ya. I just broke my only one yesterday (actually my clumsy husband ran into it while it was sticking out of my laptop), and it is my sole transport for grades, assignments, lectures, etc. Serves me right to rely so heavily on a cheap piece of carp! I'm hoping to discover a surprise in my mailbox soon...

I do. Especially that surprise when you get home and realize you forgot your drive in one of the computers at school, and the lab staff tell you that a 4gig being lost is never going to be found again. -sad face.-

The problem with slow shipping is that it leaves time for buyer's remorse to set in before you even get it.

damn usualy woot is super fast for me, ( i live in north texas) but this is my first order that they f-d up idk why its not here! i need dees!

Often the units will have already shipped before they update the order status. The last woot that I bought they updated the status to shipped 2 days after I had already recieved the item.

This is my first Woot buy.

It has been 6 days and nothing yet. If this is their speed the shipping should be free.

I still have not received neither shipping notice nor my shipment here, in CA.

Just got the e-mail saying it's been shipped.

According to the tracking number, FedEx picked it up on the 3rd, so hopefully we'll be getting it soon.

Just got my tracking......estimated delivery date of 10/11 (GA)

Well at least they are in Wisconsin....(got my shipping notice!!) only 6 more days til solid state bliss...

Have not recieved a notice or product as of yet. i own one of these already and love it but the extras will be nice.

I am in for 2 x 3 = 6 of these....still no shipping info....but I received 2 of them yesterday. Why not all 6? Does WOOT! usually split up shipping? If so, $5 for shipping....man they are losing out on some $$$.....or someone in the shipping department is going to get wooted, er I mean booted. ;-)
