Mine it says Oct 10 pkg data transmitted. Although expected deliver is Oct 15 however not other tracking details so looks like the package is not with FedEx yet and they are yet to receive the package either tomorrow or day after based on the earlier post by Woot staff. Here is what the FedEx track says

Ship date Oct 10, 2008
Destination San Jose, CA
Estimated delivery Oct 15, 2008
Service type Home Delivery-Direct Signature Required

Tracking results as of Oct 15, 2008 1:12 AM CST

Thanks

On those that provided a physical address you can track your shipment by going to Fedex.com. The reference number to enter is your order number.

This helped.. thanks for the update.. mine shipped and should be here by Thursday.

I used a credit card and it has been shipped. Apparently it's some where in between here (Salt Lake City) and El Paso, Texas, which is just 897 miles away. That's good, since when the Westinghouse 37” 1080p HDTV Ready LCD Monitor started its journey it was 1247 miles away. According to FedEx it shall be in my arms Friday, barring some unforeseen mishap with highway pirates.

If we could put this tortue that WestingHouse is putting us through on a tshirt...they would sell like hotcakes on http://shirt.woot.com/

I'm pretty sure Woot has nothing to do with this...they are only the middle man I believe.

Yeah I use to work in the shipping business and my tracking information makes no sense either. Shows shipping from Irving, TX traveling 628 miles west to El Paso, TX in 5 hours and 11 minutes and then 605 miles east to Fort Worth, TX in 19 hours and change. So after two long days of traveling over 1200 miles, it is now actually 23 miles FURTHER from where it started!!??!?!

That makes NO sense whatsoever! I am not complaining either, just confuzed, cause in the shipping business the whole idea is to do as little work as possible....

I'm speaking out of my a$$ because I called Westinghouse and they only send via UPS...so it's coming from Woot.

I want my teevee!! I won't say I'm glad to see that others are suffering as I, but it's good to have fellow wooters to carry torches to the mad doctor's castle. I would look stupid doing it alone.

still nothing on shipping, no tracking number even. I can't wait to hook this and finish Quake 4 again.

be patient you must...

if you lower your expectations, they are more likely to be met....

for example, Fedex is 2 for 7 on making deliveries to me, they usually leave the package at a random neighbors without anyone signing for it, or miss the estimated delivery date by a few days or weeks...

this being said I don't expect the tv for a couple weeks, its probably going to be sitting, shattered, unsigned-for, at a neighbors, who is on vacation and while they are on vacation their house will probably catch fire, burn to the ground and I will never get my tv...

lowered expectations = patience = easy to please

;) muuhaahahahahhahahhahaahhaahahahhauahahauhaaa.... (evil laugh)

You have to pay?

j/k Visa Check Card
Woot said everything went smoothly and I have the bank statement to prove it.

Maybe all the early shipments were the old, broken box units they needed to get rid of and the second echelon will be the clean, brand new factory direct ones? =D

ok thanks - I'll be on the lookout for the email/update re: tracking from Fedex.

As a random aside - it seems from the comments that the delay in shipping notification has taken a bit longer than normal no? Presumably because of the popularity of this item? As a new wooter - just curious...

Interesting note for you all...
When I called Westinghouse I inquired about the lovely TV (monitor) we all purchased.

If you check out the website (http://www.westinghousedigital.com/category.aspx?prodcat=1080p+Monitors) you will notice two LVM-37 inch TV's...the w1 and the w3

FYI - We are getting the w3 version.

Anywoot...the w3 basically means that they have ZERO replacement parts and the TV is completely discontinued. The w1 means they have parts but at somepoint will be completely discontinued like the w3.

The positive side of this...{drum roll}...the lady said that she has seen this a number of times...when/if you have an issue with the w3 and it has to be returned for some reason, they have to replace it completely (versus fixing it...rememeber...NO SPARE PARTS LEFT). They have apparently replaced the w3 with 42 inch TV's...FREE UPGRADE!!!

I'm sure there are still some situations where they will "fix" the w3..but I'm simply telling you what she told me...take it for what it's worth.

My order status still says "You're all set". But when I enter my order number as a reference number in FedEx tracking, it says my monitor is sitting about 15 miles away and will be delivered tomorrow. Woot!

If your order still doesn't indicate shipped, try tracking at FedEx.com by reference number = your order number.

If mine doesn't I'm just going to get drunk and cry myself to sleep/pass out, whichever comes first, and leave instructions not to wake me until my lcd arrives...and for nobody to touch it. Also I am going to check this thread 800 million more times to see who the first to get theirs is and where they live, you know while I'm waiting to pass out.

I've got my monitor from FedEx yesterday, but the box arrived in seriously beat up condition. The box for the monitor seems to be opened, and taped back in and not even sealed. There were bunch of deep cut and holes on the box. When I opened it, there seems to be several dents on the top center of the monitor. I am not sure to blame it on the warehouse people or FedEx, but this sure isn't a great experience......

I Got my TV this morning. I was mad at my roommates dog for whining all morning, since my roommate had to go to work at 5am. Well the dog started barking around 8am really loud so I went downstairs just about ready to strangle the dog, turned out to be FedEx. I freaking love this dog, I would have missed my package for sure.
On anther note the box had some decent damage the top was held together buy huge strips of tape. Luckily the TV looks intact, no cosmetic defects that I could find. I also didn't find any dead pixels which was my main concern, so over all a great experience.
