Main action buttons on the left instead of right, we read left to right, so its a bit odd to jump back to the button after scanning the page.

This is also very inconsistent, on the older/carried over elements they are still on the right.

1 extra click to buy the product on the main page? WHAT?! isn't the point to make it easy to buy the deal?

i liked the subtle triangles over the in-your-face-tabs, tabs are overused indicators.

the perfect-squares plus deals should be rectangular, the square is inconsistent with all the other rectangles

if you are on the main page of the site or sub site, the hover drop-down shouldn't show the deal, a bit redundant.

also the hover drop-downs should stand out more, since they seem to blend into the main content easily.

OK the Design is not bad, BUT the layout and having to click to find info that used to be on one page just plain sucks, as another post stated I might as well go to Deals if I wanted that

Overall, I like the new site, especially the ease of navigating from the main Woot to the others. Of course it needs some tweaking here and there, that's why it is launched as BETA!!!

I think a number of people are jumping to conclusions about the ads, not realizing that some of those "ads" are new Woot options. Color schemes are easily changed, as well as background design(s). This could even be a feature for members to customize. A mobile app may be nice, but this site loaded perfectly on my Blackberry.

My advice to fellow Wooters, for what it's worth, thoroughly review the Beta site and give feedback on what you like and dislike. Knee-jerk reactions are not honest opinions.

I was reading through the first ten pages when I realized they were all in 2009 or somesuch. Necromancers, us Wooters be!

My only major complaint is that you have to go to another page to read the full (and skillfully written) copy as opposed to having it on the first page. It feels as though the tease might not be enough for some people, and it could be detrimental to your general reader/buyer market.

People are lazy, Woot. If they don't get a clear understanding of the product or item, they just might be more willing to forget the whole darn thing without reading the copy.

Is it to create a permalink for the item? Is the link going to be replaced with a new item and copy each day?

I'm just trying to understand how splitting the product description from the main site is beneficial to the casual wooter.

Scalable is the future (and present, really). Resolutions are such that they don't really matter, it's real world "inches" that matter. A web site displayed on an iPhone's Retina display will look far different than the same web site displayed on an equivalent resolution 23" monitor. For my "low res" netbook, I just crank the scale down a notch to get it to fit the window. It's close to my eyes, so outside of artifacts and layout issues, it's all good. Contrast with my big-screen 1080P. I have to scale that up since it's a 10-foot interface. I still get scaling artifacts and layout issues, but I don't have to scoot my couch up against the screen to view web sites, either.

I have mixed feelings! I love the new design, but im not used to the change. I love how you made each woot page(woot!, home! kids!..etc) so easy to view and how each item has its own page now. But now I kinda feel that everything is everywhere now :-/. Maybe it will just take time to get used to, but my eyes just don't know where to look sometimes..But i love the ease of use you have added to the site.

My confusion is from thinking current state is V 3.0 instead of V 4.0 because the arguments still apply (too wide, ugly green, etc.)

I don't like this new "WIDE WIDTH" Woot! It is difficult to maneuver & when you want all info so you can decide if a product is worth buying, having to move your screen to see all is, well................ ANNOYING! Clumsy too!

We do though try to be loyal when you the business are loyal to we the (dupes) Er customers. It just works better for all concerned.

Pretty upset that the Shirts have risen in price to $12.00 each! On the daily shirt site. I must have 50 Woot shirts & lovingly wear them daily.
I usually refer people to the site but at this price point, there are way many more shirt sites with the $10. Price point still! Try AGAIN!

Not sure if anyone's mentioned this, but opening the sizing chart on shirt! adds an extra navigation step to my browser (Chrome) so I have to hit the back button twice to go back to the previous page.

Very cellphone unfriendly!! I hate the popup signin screen, I can't get past it on my cellphone. I always checked Woot on my phone in the morning and if I wanted the Woot I would call my wife and have her buy it, not any longer. On a Wootoff I would check all day long, I will miss the great deals!

The fact that this thread is getting 4.0 comments delights me to no end. Is that wrong?
