Hopefully fer y'all's sake this was made still by Philips, not Funai who now owns the name and products in North America.
Have had to recommend junking too many Funai everythings. (And Magnavox, Durabrand, Sylvania, etc., etc.)

as a former tuba/sousaphone player, i vouch for this answer. sousaphones are just tubas shaped differently to be easier to march with. before my high school switched to sousaphones, we had to march with convertible concert tubas held on one shoulder like a bazooka. sousaphones were a godsend.
my loved ones tell me i need to break my wooting habit. i tell them i can quit whenever i want.
