I wasn't around for 1 - but I did see it in the wayback machine... it was the early days - simple - purple. But 2 was awesome! Bright Green and Orange, Not a lot of ads, Woot was starting to get really popular. Three... [shudder] Three was hoooooorrrrriiibbblllleeee It was 3 shades of light diarrhea green - the orange was gone, they messed up the screen size - vast amounts of white space but strangely, more ads - there was a genuine revolt. because - it was revolting. The inner party that had the off switch on their telescreens publicly ignored the cries of pain and horror that echoed in the forums... but privately and quietly, they brought back a little orange, they picked one semi-decent green and toned down the white space and the ads.... maybe so amazon would buy them - I dunno. After the counseling and hypno therapy, I've thankfully repressed most of 3.0's damage. But I'm glad it's gone and I'm glad it's dead.
