They should call it a Roomba-off not a wootoff....

My Roomba commited Roomba-cide in under a year...wasn't impressed. :/

You know, this is slowly and steadily getting sold. It doesn't look hopeless.

The great thing about Roombas is they give you time to get some food.

People started out complaining about them all the time, but more and more people got them and loved them. They sell faster now.

These don't work well at all. Expect to still have to vacuum.

Great machine. Cleans amazingly well on hardwood and doormats. Haven't tried it on carpet yet.

i was *just* telling a friend if woot put up a roomba i'd get one. been living w/o a vacuum for way too long ;(

and then there was a woot-off and the roomba was just staring at me with those puppy dog eyes. hopefully it gets here in less than a month like other woot purchases.

Have this exact one. Got from woot a 6 months ago. Still works great on hard wood and carpet, just have to empty it out every 2 cycles. Saves us a ton of time. Start it when we go to work and come home to a clean floor. Kids and cats love to watch it too.

The chief cause of failure and unhappiness is trading what you want most for what you want now.

I have a roomba, and 3500 square feet of hardwoods. Does a good job on the rugs. Not so good on the hardwoods. On the hard surfaces, it picks up the big stuff, leaves dust behind. I imagine it does the same on teh rugs too, but you just can't see it.

I have slate, oak, pine, ceramic tile, Berber carpeting and a deep pile area rug. My roomba goes from one to the other with ease. I only get out a more serious vacuum about once a month because the roomba keeps things cleaned up, especially all the hair from two cats.

I absolutely love the Roomba! it's the best thing ever. caveats: works best in uncluttered rooms without throw rugs. pet hair is also a Zippy, the laziest elf. but seriously - buy one. buy it as a gift. it's like a little pet.

We have had TWO of the 400 series and both are dead after a bit moe than years use. They suffer from brain flatulance and just drive in circles. Accordingt to Roomba...no reapirs available.

My wife love it, so we naow hava a newer 500 series and hopefully it will last longer than 18 months.

The bar graph at the top clearly states %96 breakdown.. I know both of mine did after about 3 months each. And they HATE socks. The bra that I glues to the top always made people laugh...

This looks like a good price and I really want one, but with a long haired black cat, I think I am better off waiting for a 500 series to show up. Pass
