so many 1 watt items... maybe we're getting close to seeing the woot-off lights!

In December I was lucky enough to be on when they were offered & silly me, ordered a set for my son in SC.

When I visited - he had them proudly displayed & I was SO jealous!

No good deed goes unpunished!

They are not that small.
I got two of these from woot a few weeks ago.
They are awesome.
They are very bright.

My kids love that they have handles with a trigger... which is perfect for flashlight tag!

I was sufficiently impressed with these to the point I bothered to look this Woot up and post a comment a month later.

I have a zillion LED lights and some old 500,000 candle power lights similar to the style of these.

What a great woot. These things are very powerful, for the price. They are far more powerful than anything else in the flashlight category.

No, they are not similar to my 500,000 candle power spot lights, but then again those cost $100 each. These were $8 for two. (Or something like that.)

If they come up again I recommend you snap up three or four. They are great to put into places where you need emergency lights: basement, car trunk, closet.

Sidenote: I used it to find a neighbors cat who got loose. This thing shined up bush and I could see the cat's fur that blended in well with leaves. To that girl this light was worth thousands.
