I let my roomba run on the tile and linolium. It does a good job getting the bits and pieces (especially under the highchair and furnature), even if it is kind of loud.

Doesn't replace a good dyson, but I can run this ALOT more.

Yes, carpet wood or tile they work great. My dog sheds tons of fine hair daily, the roomba does vacuum the hair, although it takes a while getting the hair out of the carpet.

And the lighthouse is so it does one room before moving to the next.

Gulpy3 wrote:At least it isn't a "Finishing Sander" guys, be thankful

For those of us that spend time in the wood shop a finishing sander is a great thing to have ;)

That being said let's just get it out of the way:

1. Yes it works on hardwoods, tile, carpet, that ugly fake turf stuff, etc
2. No it will not make your carpets super duper clean when you haven't vacuumed in 4 years
3. It probably won't eat your cat, probably...
4. Yes we know you want a scooba...
5. Yes it will go over small bumps
6. Yes, it's another Roomba on a Woot-Off, quit acting surprised
7. Yea it'll help keep the hair to a minimum if you have a pet tribble

Your cat and dog will get used to it. Before that happens, you need to have a video camera.

It'll choke on the laundry, though.

I don't get the roomba haters. Roombas are GREAT vacuums. My wife and I tried one a few years back and were shocked at all the guppy it pulled out of the carpet. Our regular upright vacs sure can't hold a candle to them.

I love mine so much I got a dirtdog for my workshop. That thing picks up nails and screws and coins and all kinds of guppy without a hiccup. My workshop has never been so clean.

I took the appearance of the roomba to be a call to lunch. Baked potato stuffed with sauteed mushrooms, onions, broccoli, ham and cheese...topped with sour cream, snipped chives, freshly ground black pepper and...

Thanks, w00t!!! Love you!!!

Try bathing the kids instead of vacuuming them... doesn't work as well on crumbs or pet hair, but better for ground-in dirt.

It was just about lunch time, and the citrus press was sold out. I refreshed the page, hoping that it wouldn't be the box of chorizo before I headed out, or that the item would sell out when I was getting my lunch.

The roomba came up, and I knew I'd have all the time in the world to grab my food.

The only time I've been glad to see the roomba in the woot off.

I have berber carpet and it works fine. In fact, I have so much of it that I have TWO roombas working on it sometimes. It's funny when they collide in a corner and don't know which way to go next...

Just make sure you don't have any loose carpet threads sticking up anywhere. I presume you know that if you DO have loose threads sticking up, you cut them off with scissors, you don't pull it?

Ohhh, this junk is gonna take longer than your lunch break to sell. They hold items up here for 12 hours on a wootoff, or until they sell out. Looks like I'm checking back in 11 and a half hours.
