You just don't get it. Roomba's do the vacuuming while you're not home or doing something else. Consequently, they free you from having to vacuum. When I get home from work, my living room is completely vacuumed and dog hair free. Versus having to get home and then bring out the big ol' Hoover and vacuum the living room in person. Much better to have Roomba do it -- unattended. If you don't like the idea, it doesn't matter to me. I, and apparently many other Wooters, LOVE the idea. Have fun vacuuming your rooms manually!

I bought a Discovery awhile back. They dont last. After a year, it needs a new battery, $100.
After 2 years it needs new wheels, $???. You have to open it and clean it out from time to time.
