They breed them. Depicting or even discussing the actual process will get you banned for 24 hours though.....

Means the dumpster is empty. Sometimes you'll see the same item listed later which means they got someone to dive one of the other dumpsters. They have a lot of dumpsters, all neatly labelled.....

So woot off on Friday, delivered on Tuesday!!! Not bad! Except for the whole bumper sensor not working thing which leaves el Roboto reversing in circles for 30 seconds before giving up with 9 beeps. I guess I'll be left with a respiffied model after iRobot replaces it.. I guess like all Roomba reviews say.... 'when' it breaks.

Mine arrived today! Probably the weekend before I can test it out. For once I am actually excited about vacuuming!

Just received mine yesterday and its a whole lot better than my older one. Built more solid and quieter! More like a robot and not an R/C toy.

Bought mine on 3/23 got it 7 days later and I LOVE it. It works perfectly! I have tile, wood floors and berber carpet; works just fine on all of them.

The ONLY problems I have found so far is that it wont go over my area rug in the living room because it is really dark in color and I have also found that the lighthouse works well as a virtual wall but if you only have one it doesnt really work well as a lighthouse cause you have to constantly move it when the roomba goes into different rooms. It seems to just be best to close doors instead of using the lighthouse. I think I will have to invest in buying more brushes for the rotating brush thingy and a couple more lighthouses.

I would rate this 5 stars. I have 3 cats and 2 dogs. I have a daughter as well so the hair is everywhere, it does great with this. 5 minutes of maintenance before every use is no problem and watching it go is fun. The battery has lasted long enough to clean about 4 rooms in my house thoroughly and it charges in about 2 hours. I have used it everyday so far and is still in great condition with NO problems. Hope you all enjoy yours.

Woot until you can woot no more!!!

Got mine a couple days ago, and it is excellent! Would also rate it 5 stars..

And this is not even remotely about lazy. Even if you're not lazy, you personally aren't likely to spend a half hour plus thoroughly recleaning a carpet that is already clean, this will. It also has a 'dirt detection' system that notices dirt you never would see, and cleans those areas even better. Over time it will keep your carpets much cleaner than you ever could manually, and that is dirt that isn't being ground into the carpet. This coupled with regular carpet cleaner cleaning should add years of life to your carpet, if not doubling its life or more.

I wasn't sure myself, but after reading reviews decided to try it, and glad I did. No doubt is going to keep the carpet cleaner than almost anyone could stand to do manually. Yes you have to clean it manually, but at least that is relatively easy and in one spot, it has taken dirt from the carpet that you probably never would have found yourself. $150 was easily what a decent vacuum would have cost, and you don't have to do the work, and it does it better. Even if it takes 1 or 2 more for parts etc to keep things going for 5 or 6 years it'll still be worth it. Fortunately I'm a tech so any problems won't be much of a problem for me, could be a little more troublesome for most people. Heck you have to clean and maintain a regular vacuum once in a while too, or expect to take it somewhere or replace it now and then..

Not a 100% perfect no touch system, but for sure it has some definite advantages over a manual vacuum, and not just 'doing the work'. I'd say the thin spindly strands of the main brush and the narrow high vacuum area are cleaning more deeply into the carpet than any hand vacuum I've ever used, the engineering seems pretty well done..

If you say you aren't going to buy one because you'll 'do the work' and 'aren't that lazy' then you need to seriously reevaluate your thinking. It's very unlikely you will work as hard and often as this thing can, and also quite unlikely you even could do as good of a job no matter how much you used a normal vacuum.

Not to mention why would you? This and a good lawn mower robot would be excellent, two time consuming tasks that a robot could do better. Why would you ever want to waste part of your life doing that carp? Let the robot do that and go do something else a robot couldn't do.

Sounds like an ad, but really the advantages are just that obvious once you've had one in action a couple of times. I expected it to be pretty good from some of the reviews, and it has exceeded my expectations.

If they ever run this again grab one! This was a total no brainer for me, I already own the 560 (that's the one with the scheduler) the parts are interchangeable. Now the older but main robot will run automatically every day on the main floor, but this one I leave right below my alarm clock...I get up, push the go button, and it does the whole upstairs. It's freakin amazing what these little Roombas will pick up. With two dogs to help me mess up the place, I swear by these. I paid over $350 for the first robot. Course I had to name her Rosie the Robot. I am still thinking what to call this new one..taking suggestions. If you got this awesome deal do register your robot...My first one died and the company sent me a new one, free. New robot? Check the collection bin daily, cuz it's amazing what these things pick up..after you've run it a couple weeks you only have to clean the collection bin once a week....hope you love yours too! Can you believe what a freakin deal this was?

Call me lazy! I come home to a clean house constantly. These freakin things rock and I've now got one for each level of the house. Kinda cute how they push the dog toys around while vacumming. Hey, got any more lazy gadgets? Cuz I'd rather be having a life then cleaning any day!
