I'm wondering if the Polaroid camera you had was a rebranding of a Mustek or Casio?
if I could find a pic of that poloroid to post I would, but it was a few years ago, and it's pretty old now. The problem with the tv had nothing to do with the mechanism that flipped down. It was electronics inside the main part, and poloroid themself admitted it was a bad design when I called them about it, but it was like 10 days past warranty and they said sorry...

Ive had mine for about half a week, the first two days it worked just fine, but now when i hit the on button the little green light flashes for a second and turns off. im using rechargeable batteries.
Edit: nvm, battiers were the problem

i've been using mine on and off since i got it last week, and i'll tell ya, get rechargeable batteries. best money saver you can get for this camera
i'd like to say that about 98% of my shots are keepers with this lil guy. i'm glad i splurged when i got it.
