If you buy 3, Woot is a better deal.

Finally. After days of wading (and waiting) through piles of guppy, there's finally something I need!

I was almost ready to give up on the whole woot-off and walk away.

Now I'm stuck watching it again. Dammit.

It's 9.99 for a 4 pack, so if you get 3, you'll beat out the store price by $1 for just the batteries.

I like this charger, it's a bit finicky, but it works great if your ipod is stationary, so if you want to charge at work, or camping, but not so much when your on the move. It's true you don't get that much of a charge on alkaline batteries though, so beware. The included lithiums work well enough, I just don't want to spend the money to replace them.

It doesn't deliver sufficient amps to significantly charge the iPhone.

However, it DOES charge a regular iPod well. You can even use the device while charging...

Well, I got three for less than the price you paid for two. I'm sure it'll really come in handy on my motorcycle when A2DP audio streaming (stereo Bluetooth) starts killing my battery this Summer*, and multiple ones will let me continue to charge it when I disconnect from my motorcycle's battery.

*actually, I installed the iPhone OS 3.0 beta and can do it now; on beta 5 currently
