It actually switched mine to the $5 on the last page confirming checkout, so I would have been one of the first to hit the big gold button on a $8 box of chorizo. I guess it only worked for the people who bought the "correct" box of chorizo right from the beginning (i.e. people who waited those extra few seconds until it wasn't $1 mill shipping anymore on the homepage.)

didn't buy one thing on this woot-off, did buy a sansa clip over on sellout yesterday.

tried for a box of chorizo and got to the confermaton screen and nothing.....oh well

How are the lights woot bros? They look kinda cool but I'm still questioning the $15.00 purchase.

Thanks Woot. It was fun, I got a few things I didn't need. That's always a plus. I hope the next woot-off (or any day- I usually check in here every day) has some of the items I've been looking for:

My want list:

USB tablet/pen (regret not buying one months ago)
Dyson (roomba, shmoomba. The last woot-off that you had one it was offered when I was asleep. Curses.)
foam fan (that was awesome, I tried to buy one but they were gone)
colorful, decent quality digicam (so my husband won't break it)

(I doubt you take requests, but it doesn't hurt to try.)

I will think of you fondly every time I enjoy a gimlet accented with bacon salt. Sad to see it all end so soon...

Woot, please bring back the Pentax DSLR you had a few wootoffs ago. I've been wanting one.

Yeah, this wootoff seemed a little subpar to me. I had lots of chances to get one of those battery-less flashlights and kept missing them. Doh! I at least got the screaming monkey and lights, that was my one goal. Haha. I hope everyone had fun. Thanks Woot!

For you light haters, sell them on eBay. I bought a spare set there a while back (and now this will be my second spare, heh) for $10 plus $5 shipping and basically allowed the person to get his monkey for free. We both were happy.

I already know what I'm going to do with the lights. Two people I work with have told me how much they like the lights. Now that I'll have a second spare, I'll give them each a set, and I'll still have mine. I look like a king, they get one of the most entertaining USB gadgets out there, and I get another monkey for my collection (all of them so far!)

I can't believe I kept missing those stupid forever flashlights that came up 420 times!! Those are handy. I really wanted some of those.
