I noticed that too! Not sure why there was a change to IM's post. I don't have my tracking information either...but I hope that's just a minor glitch.

There didn't seem to be any problems when they took my money, at least. ;)

Definitely something wrong in my case. No tracking number in my account or email. And no headphones. Will be contacting service woot soon.

i got tracking number yesterday.. says i will get it monday ?

I received these tonight, I originally ordered 1, but then wanted more. By the time customer service had gotten back to me they had already sold out.

I am not an audiophile, but I do have a soundcard and RP-F550's I use on my PC.

I have not burned these in yet, but the bass on these is very very good so far.
Noise isolation is good, and these sit better in my ears than Sony's MDR-EX51LP.

The highs aren't so clear yet, but I think they will clear up after I burn them in overnight.

Impressed so far.

Mine showed up yesterday and they burned in overnight. Very happy with them and wish I would have bought 2 pairs. :-)

I just got my shipping memo and sure enough, my package was shipped out on June 16th. It's already on the east coast so I should see it early next week. I guess I can relax now.

Woot! I got mine today. A day earlier than expected according to tracking info. I only had enough time to "burn them in" for about 5 hours before I had to pack them up to bring to work.

I was impressed how, with my Slacker G2 portable (that's what I bought them for) turned almost all the way up, I could hear the music in my bedroom, upstairs, with fans and AC going. Loud little guys. I haven't had time to use them yet tonight. I'm excited though.

About the burning in thing: Why? And it says 8 hours, but what if I do half now, listen to them and then do the other 4 hours tomorrow? Does this really make a difference. I've never heard of needing to do that at all, so I'm just curious.

They are very easy on the eyes. Shiny! I do wish the L and R were more visible. But, I'm not complaining.

This is what I found about "burning in" after a quick search.

Burning in new headphones is essential! In a nutshell when you receive a new pair of headphones the drivers are brand new. They have not been pushed and have not stretched to the full size that they need to be. The way that you can fix this problem is by burning in your headphones. By burning in your headphones you will stretch the driver. This will open the driver and also open the sound spectrum to include all of the frequencies possible for that particular driver.

I just got my set of three pairs. Timely too as I'd lost a set of Sonys. I'm not an audiophile, but have used all sorts of headphones, including a nice set of MDR-V600s.

These are definitely not the best at the high end, but wow the bass is nice.

Once you get them snugly fit into your ears, they drown out a lot. And they are loud. I try full volume on my Iphone and its piercing. Normally I listen to music at that volume, but I think I'll be lowering that a bit now.

I just got mine today and after living with iPod buds for a while and some old sony headphones from 1998, these are amazing. I listened to some hip-hop first and holy apcray the bass was fantastic.

burning in headphones is akin to 'breaking in' hi-top sneakers. The theory is that the speakers need 20-100 hours to get into their optimal 'zone'.

However, there is no proof that it does anything.

Burning in a set of dynamic driver phones like these should be done just like the instructions say "at MODERATELY high" volume. If you blast them initially you can damage the diaphragm or driver and shorten the life of the earphones.

The easiest and safest way to burn in a set of phones is to wear them and listen to your music normally. You will hear subtle changes over a period of some hours.
Most any thing else is "mumbo-jumbo".

I just got my box today but there was nothing in it, I'm very pissed! It had a sticker on it from my hometown PO that said 'Received @ PG Post Office Empty'. It also had a 'Damaged' sticker on it. Hey Woot Staff, I want my earphones!

They may have been shipped, but mine were stolen right out of the box! I want a new pair, and soon!

I have nearly the same problem. Mine worked for about 10 minutes (I listened to them for a bit before burning them in), I set my sansa e280 to about 65% volume, and came back about 4 hours later and there is no sound coming out of the right side.

Mine too, except on the left channel. Medium buds were too big so I switched them to the small size ones...but left channel was DOA.

Gonna raise hell on Maximo's support staff.

I got mine Saturday, and went to my buddy's wedding while they burned in. Did a little more burning on Sunday, and here I am at work wearing them.

They have a lot of bass. Actually, too much bass. I listen to Rover in the morning, and his voice (which isn't particularly deep) completely drowns out everything to the point of being annoying to listen to, because everything is kind of muffled.

Not sure if I didn't burn these in enough...I played them at about the maximum I'd be able to listen to for around 10 hours.
