I also got mine on the 14th. It arrived 30 minutes after I left for a trip. With some of the posts I'd seen I was pretty worried. I got home yesterday and set it up.

Mine arrived in great shape. It looks brand new. It had all of its parts, remote, etc.

Setup was quick, image quality is great.

The ways I new it was a refurb were the fact it didn't have the special screen protector covering, it had an inspection sticker from a US based company and the manuals were photo copied and stapled together.

I'm a satisfied customer.

Finally received my TV. The box looked fine. Opened the box and the TV looked O.K. but when I hooked it up and plugged it in, the backlight lit up and the screen looked like a shattered window. I am not a happy person..... Now I've got to find out what to do next, box it back up and pay to have it shipped back. I read in another message that there are no more available, so I have to find out how to go about getting a refund.

What a Bummer!!!!

For those of you with scuff marks and scratches, I just used plastic polish on a huge patch on the front top right corner and it worked perfectly. If you go an inch away from the spot, you can still see it, but there's no chance anyone looking at the tv normally will see it.

I initiated a trace with FedEx to find my TV, and they found it still in Texas last week. They put it on the truck on Monday the 20th and the expected delivery date is Monday the 27th. I hope to see it within the month! Shipping problems seem to have plagued this particular Woot. Hopefully Woot will improve their future TV offers.

It probably was damaged in shipping. I would contact Fed Ex and open a claim # and give that information to woot by emailing service@woot.com

I ordered 2.

I'm usually really pleased with refurbs from woot.

Not this time.

Only one TV made it too me. The other one made it as far as Texas. I called FedEx and they told me a claim must be filed. The TV is lost.

The one I did receive has a warped front plastic piece and lots of scratches. I could have lived with that.

The major problem is the one inch blue circle and the TWELVE INCH LIGHT AREA right in the MIDDLE of the screen.

Hopefully this will all work out. Not easy.

UPDATE:

I sent a message to service@woot.com about the TV lost by FedEx this morning, and already got a reply that a replacement is being shipped.

THANKS WOOT for the fast response.

Now if I can figure out what to do about the defective TV... I called Phillips first, since it's their refurb that wasn't properly refurbed. I'll see what they say before I attempt an RMA though Woot.

What kind of plastic polish? Any specific brand?

UPDATE:

I called Philips and was given the number of a local repair shop who is supposed to call me Monday morning to set up a time to come to my home and try and repair the television.

I asked what happens if it's not repairable (which it's not unless they replace the entire screen) and was told customer relations will be notified and "an alternative solution" will be discussed.

Anybody else still waiting, or shall I file a claim..? Mine's been en route to New Jersey for the last 15 days.

When I called FedEx, they told me that if it's over 10 days without an update on the tracking, it's time to file a claim.

Well, having waited almost a month for delivery of the TV, it arrived today (July 27th) with a cracked screen. Add me to the list of unhappy Wooters for this woot.

Well, after weeks of HD bliss, my TV has begun intermittantly flickering out from time to time. Called Philips, jumped through hoops. Tech's coming on Monday. Here's hoping he'll fix it, and that'll be that.

Here's and update....Phillips authorized free repair....took to the shop, they fixed the IR receiver and it now works great!!!

(I'm glad it got caught in-system so *I* don't have to deal with it :-)

Took a little nagging (would be nice if the My Account page actually had updates on exception handling) but mine finally arrived about an hour ago, yay :-) The shipping box was a little chewed on but the screen was perfect; the remote actually worked, so the setup screen was no problem. Now to find adaptors and cables for everything else :-)

UPDATE:

The second TV finally came, and it's working great.

The first TV was evaluated by the Philips repair guy about 2 weeks ago and he said it needs a new panel and he ordered one. I called yesterday for the status and was told the panel is no longer available. So now I'm waiting to hear what happens next....
