I say we petition woot to only allow you the chance at getting a b o c after you have at least 10 woots. that would get rid of the newbies who only are here for the b o c and do not support the site any other time !!

I paid about ~$1,300'ish + sales-tax for a Sony Bravia V-series 40" LCD w/ 1080p/60Hz approx' 2 1/2 years ago @ a brick-&-mortar shop (price-matched from an online vendor).
Seeing that this is slightly larger & w/ more HDMI/USB inputs, at half-the-price. Ughz. . .
Sales-tax is a deal killer for me on big-ticket woots, since I'm in Tejas & have to pay it for my woots.
Not to mention refurb's on high-end consumer electronics (big-screen HDTVs, computers, etc') can be a major PITA...
