Has anyone received confirmation that they've sent out their TV yet? I haven't bought anything this big on woot yet, but all the other things I've purchased i got the confirmation within only a day or 2 max...

same here, i have not gotten any confirmation on it as well. i want it in my living room!! anyone that has made any large purchases on woot know of how long this normally takes?

I haven't gotten a confirmation either. I have been looking all day for the last few days. It says on woot that it will be shipped within 5 business days. Tomorrow the 10th makes 5 business days. I'm just as impatient as you guys are I think.

I'm right there with you. I'm rocking a huge glass 32 inch that I can't wait to get rid of. I just got a PS3 recently, too, so I'm PUMPED FOR HD!

Do they normally take all five days to ship like this?

Im in the same boat...Im excited to play the 360 in HD! I also have not gotten a confirmation.

I beleieve Woot should let us know when this will delivered. I'll wait 1 more day then I'll cancel my order because 5 days is getting over today. I went to Walmart to see the TV in person. I am disappointed to see the color. It's looks fade compare to Samsung and Toshiba. Color is not vivid.

Woot don't have enough units to ship so that they are trying to get new TV for some of their shipment. If you are lucky you will get a new one.

Yeah i got that 360 that was on here a while back guess i just need a HDMI cable and ill be set.

You say your order was received today? I too am waiting, also been putting off getting a TV stand until I had a tracking number or notice that it had been shipped; if Woot is having a problem in changing the status, I would think they would at least let the ones who have ordered that the TVs are on the way

What do think about the quality and color now it's in your living room? I realize there are bigger, better and badder tv's out there but they aren't in my price range. I am sure this one will be better than the humongous crt set I have now, plus the addition of more colors in the picture will be interesting (I think the red color gun is shot, everything is blue and yellow on my set).

I wasn't home so they left it with my neighbors. The TV was pretty dirty and had scuff marks all over the shiny part that surrounds the screen. The picture is good but i am disappointed in the marks that wont come off.
any ideas? is this what i should have expected with a refurb?

Did the status change to shipped for you? Or was it still at Order In?

Which shipping company delivered it? UPS just came with a different shipment so I know it's not them.

FedEx Ground delivered mine this evening. Not that I'm complaining, but my order status page still shows "will ship within 5 business days." Perhaps Woot can streamline their order updates a bit?

My wife and I have not received ours yet. Is there any way of finding out when we might receive the tv?
A tracking number would be great.

I'm in Dallas. So being in Woot's hometown, I get my orders fairly fast. Definitely drop shipped to me, so transit times may be faster than normal to other areas depending on where the dropships come from.

So my initial thoughts after setting this baby up side by side with my Sony XBR (keeping in mind the XBR cost 3.5x more):
- Picture on the Phillips definitely isn't as sharp as my XBR, even with Pixel Plus turned on.
- Color tones warmer on the XBR also
- Some image shudder during fast motion

Sure the XBR is a better set but I knew that going into this. Having said all this, I think this TV is a fantastic value for what all of us paid. I don't regret the purchase at all. For those of you that didn't get in on this.... suckas!

I didn't get it today either (in CA). Woot really needs to get the tracking system in shape. I don't mind waiting but I want to at least know what's going on.

wally-world employees don't always calibrate it right, I wouldn't be surprised if they just hooked it up, and went on their day...

refurb or not... call the shipping company and report the damage, they should do something about it. typically refurbs look like new (in my experience) and shipping companies treat packages like carp, that's why they have insurance. I have had stuff left at my door when I was home... they don't even knock anymore, just drop it and run. If I don't receive mine by Tuesday I am going to cry, then pitch a fit and .................

I also haven't gotten shipping confirmation on my set either. I'm in Buffalo NY, so normally shipping takes a while... I'm just hopeful it shows up in the next two weeks cuz then I'm on vacation for a week. Looking forward to relaxing with my tv.

It may not be the best tv in the world, but it's gotta be better than the carp tv's I've got in my house. Upgrading from an Standard Def 32 Tube that I can't make out any dark scenes on. Wanna get my PS3 hooked to it. Already ordered all my HDMI cables from monoprice.com sick prices
