nice woot... save me some $ on buying cards ... (to everyone who thought these were for taking notes on... :) read the description a little more carefully

Dude...paper is paper.

I guarantee you that 90% of the folks logging on to today's woot are not even the least bit interested. I can gaurantee you that 90% are not saying, "WOW! I have always wanted one of these!," or "This is cool!....I didn't know these even existed!," or "I can't believe I can finally afford one of these!"

NOPE.

The majority of people, even the ones that bought the paper, are saying...."whatever." Woot is not about whatever. Woot is about calling your friends the next day and saying, hey...did you see what they have on woot???

Even the discription is lame. Like they say, you can't make chicken salad out of chicken (censored).

Does anybody have a coupon code, or are weekends out? Just wondered how one might come by a coupon code if there's no podcast to give you one.

Akchooley... this is a great woot!. But... I don't send cards.

But for those who don't, you won't know what cards are going for these days. Believe it or not, $3 each ain't out of the question. So with these, even with printing it *and* the stamp, it's like a half a buck apiece and you have custom cards, not store bought ones. (Try and get one with your families pic on em for this price!)

Come to think of it, at 3 bucks a pop, that's prolly why I don't do cards anymore. :) Now, if I knew woot would have these every year, I might be tempted again... Nah...

It's really weird, I couldn't find a solid or good enough reason to end up buying it, but somehow still wanted to .... thought of taking notes for class.....definitely not worth it........maybe buy cardstock.......need to go check walmart.........froogle gave me pretty expensive cardstock so I bought it,.......will end up using it for inspirational "PRINTED" quotations in the house.

I think it's funny that not very many of us are jumping on this one, yet we will ALL end up with some. At least, those that buy the next Beverage of Choice will.

LOL My sentiments exakly! I have an itchy mouse finger. You could use card stock but by the time you screw up 90 of them to get one cut right it ends up costing you more.

And then there's the envelope factor. These come with envelopes. I remember years ago I thought I'd make my own but couldn't find a 4x6 envelope to save my buns. That's when I said the heck with it and stopped sending em. Maybe they have 4x6's now, but I doubt it.

After reading the posts tonight, I fear my virtual neighbors in the Community of Woot are a little short in both tooth and couth, to tell the truth. The cards are a noble offering by woot worthy indeed of a good toot. I am all in.

Note cards? You're asking a bunch of guys who've collectively written maybe five thank you cards in their entire lives.... to buy note cards? You'd have better luck selling toilet paper to canines. No loot for this woot.

Cool -- my first woot! Believe it or not, this is like the first semi-normal, not for recent PowerBall winners, okay for lefties product to post since I joined. Sushi? Weird, slug-looking speakers? Golf clubs?

The guy who did all the math back thre talked me into it. He's gonna come write all these cards now, right?

..or could it be that they are selling paper?

Unless you will be making Christmas cards to send out to your 150 friends and family (yeah right), this is actually not even a good deal. You basically save $30. They go for $9.99 most places. However, it takes you the wasting of a bunch of these to test your cards out and make sure they are as you desire.

By the way, upon finishing your 150 high quality prints, be ready to shell out $50 or so for a new printer cartridge.

Still a deal?...especially when Wallgrens makes these cards for a few bucks.

Again, terrible item tonight woot.

Poor Woot. Whatever they put in front of us, someone is going to complain that it's lame, or too expensive, or too...

Not that I would pay full price for this, but over at hp.com these cards are going for $19.99 PER PACKAGE. That's 80% off--count me in.

You really need to look a little harder. I've seen them for $6.99 a pack.

Definitely could be because they're selling such a hard-to-find, exciting, and fabulously-priced item.

Even if I found them at your price of $6.99 x 5 = ~$35 compared to ~$20, it's still enough savings for me. That's the point, I don't want to bother looking harder for a purchase of this size, and I didn't have to. True, it's not the most amazing Woot...but....I came, I saw, I bought...and on to the next Woot.

Terrible woot. Nobody likes paper! This isn't exciting, it's just barely too expensive to be a true impulse woot, there's no flashiness or anything.

But I'm half-kidding. I'm in for one.

Really good price
http://www.shoplocal.com/shoplocal/iid111819prid-98994_-hp-note-cards-matte-4-x-6-30-count.fp

30 for $11.99 here

I dont know though, still thinking about it. If this price was was true for 150 cards that would be $59.95 plus shipping. Your saving $47.96 here plus $5.00 shipping here. Hell of a buy.

I'll have to ask the wife if she could use the cards, because I sure a he** can't.

What a weird WOOT though....
