I had mine delivered earlier today and I'm itching to get home from work and start checking it out... and then I saw all the issues posted here. Now I'm a little nervous. Did anyone find any reason as to why a few wooters received remotes?

Was finally able to unpack and setup. Had to do a repair at start up, but everything was cool after that. The thing looked brand new, with no scuffs or non-working parts. I have not tested everything extensively, but so far so good. I also got the Windows 7 upgrade submitted with no problems. Thanks Woot!

I know that some people are having problems with their systems, but I'm happy to report that mine appears to be just fine. I expect that people who are having troubles will post here for ideas and/or help, and I have done the same thing in the past when it was *my* turn. But I'm guessing that the folks who got a working system - which are probably a large majority - have been relatively silent. Call it the "squeaky wheel" theory.
I was able to submit for the free upgrade to Win 7. The URL for that again is:
http://www.gateway.com/win7upgrade
Go ahead and skip to Step 2 - Step 1 is just a list of upgradable systems, and ours *is* on the list. As recommended previously, go very very slowly through the upgrade screens. Be prepared to click and wait for the site to catch up to you.
My turn with a question. I'm familiar with LightScribe, but LabelFlash is new to me. I don't recall ever having seen or heard of it until now, and I certainly don't remember ever sighting media. Where does one get LF media, and shouldn't I be seeing some software somewhere to *do* LF?
