I know someone who has a Dirt Dog.
They had a difficult time finding the right size bark collar to fit it, makes a huge difference in the noise level.

Just a dumb question, but does anyone really use these? I mean, a couple hundred bucks for this? Other than handicappers, elderly or those infirm with arthritis?

Soooo tempted...I have the older style roomba and the battery is dying fast. I like the newer ones and love the dirt dog...ug....what to do, what to do????

These things have tiny capacity. If you have a dog... you'll get one room clean because the Roomba instantly fills up with hair. Why do they have to make it so small? Give it a bag it totes around or something, anything!

This isn't a bad deal... all of the 500 series roombas work fundamentally the the same except for the accessories that come with them. This one may not have onboard scheduling but you're not missing much.

The Dirt Dog "sweeps" vs. vacuums so it's better for a shop / garage environment. Also this is a way better deal than the irobot site.

Did you try it with pet hair? I have a Siberian Husky and even my Dyson needs emptying after each room I vacuum.

ooo how nice. wish i needed another one right now... these are great. looks like the dog one is an improvement- easier to clean pet hair and stays off the tassels. i don't know if it's a great deal, seems like price for two about price of two. but is better than store prices i've seen.
