i need to shower... its been 48 hours

Just thought I'd add in case anyone is on the fence about this woot:

This is a REALLY great price for TWO NEW roombas.

I purchased a refurb one from woot a couple of years ago and still love it. I did have to replace the battery after about a year and a half, but I found an off-brand battery somewhere (I don't remember off hand where, you'll have to do some research) that actually lasts longer than my original battery did when I first got the Roomba.

My use:
I have an inch-high shag rug that I LOVE it to vacuum. It makes the shag look all pretty. (Yes, I'm a girl, I can say pretty) It kills at cleaning on tile and it makes my carpeting upstairs look pretty spiffy as well.

It does run the battery down faster when it's going over my carpeting and rug.

I do not have any pets in my house, however I do have very long hair (past the middle of my back) so it picks that up and I do have to use the little brush tool (LOVE IT) that came with the Roomba to cut my hair off of the brushes. With all of that being said, being that it only has to clean up after me, I can empty the container every second go. (but it is full by then)

Also, it's rather fun to take the Roomba apart - if you're into that kind of stuff. My brother and I bought one for my mother, and she's not into taking it apart. (BTW, she loves hers, too)

If the link didn't work go to the husqvarna com site and look under homeowners and then robomowers, you probably won't see a price though and I am not sure if they are even going to sell them in the USA next season yet.

What's the diference between the 510 and the 530 (I think that's the one I have) is it the same roomba without the docking station?

In for one. I'll be relieved to finally answer the whole roomba debate for myself (is there anything on this site that people are unequivocal about?). I'm a single guy who travels a bit for work and I don't clean as often as I should/could so if it helps in between those times I'll be happy.

In for 2 sets! No charging base is a bummer, but from a spare parts perspective - this is an awesome deal.

Also great for Christmas gifts!

Are these programmable to dump the dirt out once in a while?

I'm getting really frustrated here. There are 15 hours a day I am up and capable of Wooting. There have been like 6 or 7 netbook deals. Why exactly did they all have to be in those 7 hours per diurnal cycle that I am required to be in bed, asleep?

Somebody yesterday said if you email customer service they'll add a second one to your order... hope it works for you!

My stairs are too narrow for the sensors and they're average width stairs; if your stairs are REALLY wide, it would probably work. It works on my stair landing.

Now, if they only made one for cleaning the inside of the car. Save me from vacuuming pet hair and stuff from the seats and floors? Oh yeah, I'd be in for one of those.

My Roomba is downstairs cleaning and I am upstairs working! I love it. No more pushing the vacume! I bought this combo so I no longer have to carry ours upstairs. Plus I think hubby will love it for his man cave!

To get this Woot off moving again, I contributed my part. I’ve been curious about the love/hate relationships that fellow Wooters have with Roombas and for all the positive reasons mentioned in this thread – I bit.

Now, the next decision is the Square Trade extended Warranty. I might have missed earlier discussions but has anyone have any thoughts to this?

I do, I'm not home during the day, and I live in a townhouse and don't want to be an annoying noisy neighbor vacuuming in the middle of the night, so I turn it on before I leave the house in the morning and everything is clean by the time I get home. I love it.

I need a Roomba with a recharge base. I'm that lazy...
