Awesome knife from an awesome maker. I keep my SOG Flash II on me all the time. The assisted opening feature is reason enough to buy this knife.

Oh, and it is NOT a switchblade. The assisted opening simply accelerates the opening after you thumb the blade open partway. A switchblade opens the blade all the way via the use of a switch.

My 'street fighting' skills (see product description) against this knife:

Nice knife. Sold at lot when I used to work at pretzel twist's Sporting Goods. When closed, it makes a nice rope cutter.

Assisted Opening is sort of like a switchblade... makes this knife really handy for one handed use...

High quality product, excellent price. Not something I need.
